Kings Plaza is a shopping center that opened in 1970, within the Marine Park/Mill Basin section of Brooklyn, east of Flatbush Avenue. Later, Kings Plaza closed the Waldenbooks book store, Suncoast videos and Sam Goody music store. The Banana Republic store was closed and changed into a children's clothing store named Kidstown (which has also closed) and a Godiva chocolate store was added. Southpark Mall is a shopping mall in the Colonial Heights, Virginia and Petersburg, Virginia area. It contains 76 stores and is anchored by Dillard's, Macy's, JC Penney and Sears.[1] The Hecht's store was renamed Macy's on September 9, 2006. On July 11, 2007, the mall opened its new Regal Cinemas Stadium 16 theater. The facility covers 68,000 square feet and includes approximately 3,100 seats. The old 6-screen theater in the food court area has converted into an extended food court. The food court now contains a Subway, Stir Fry 88, and Knockout Burgers. Located north of the city of Wilmington, Delaware, in the unincorporated Brandywine Hundred area along U.S. Route 202. The mall is located a short distance south of the Pennsylvania border and it attracts shoppers from Pennsylvania and other neighboring states wishing to take advantage of tax-free shopping in Delaware. The mall opened in stages over a period of several years. The first of the mall was an Almart, a now-defunct discounter, which opened in 1965. In 1971, a Pomeroy's (now-defunct department store chain) was added. The Almart later became a Jefferson Ward (Montgomery Ward-owned discounter), and was then a Bradlees for a brief time until it was demolished for a Sears.
