Lin-Weinberg gallery was founded in 1995 by Andy Lin and Larry Weinberg to create a permanent retail space in which to present a diverse collectiion of modern design and decorative art.
Prior to opening the gallery, Andy and Larry were show exhibitors at major twentieth century/modern venues.

Las Venus opened in 1995 on Ludlow Street in the up-and- coming Lower East Side of Manhattan. In the late 1990's, the Lower East Side experienced a renaissance, emerging as one of New York City's hippest neighborhoods. Las Venus and its celebration of 20th Century Pop Culture quickly became the talk of Ludlow Street.
Planned from the start to be a lively, artfully cluttered, friendly store, boasting a huge and ever-changing inventory of colorfully outrageous pieces, Las Venus has attracted a great deal of attention from the print and broadcast media. Located on W.14th St. in New York City’s Meatpacking District, our Studio is sited in a recently landmarked building from the early 1900s. Following in the area’s industrial vein, the 4,000 square foot loft environment is characterized by raw concrete floors and exposed brick walls. The neighborhood has become home to high–end designer clothing boutiques, multi–starred restaurants and galleries. One of the only DWR Studios to feature weekly window displays, the space displays a wide selection of seating, bedroom designs, workspace and outdoor furniture, lighting and accessories. Studio Proprietor Brian Lynch oversees the Studio and provides personalized, knowledgeable assistance along with his staff.

BDDW builds each piece by hand, one at a time, in their Williamsburg Brooklyn studio. Tyler Hays, a painter and sculptor, is the company founder and head designer. Joshua Vogel, an architect and gifted craftsman, oversees the Brooklyn workshop. BDDW is known for their heirloom quality solid wood furniture, traditionally joined, in select domestic hardwoods. Their finishes are all hand rubbed with natural oils and lacquers.
