City Place Mall, an enclosed atrium style shopping center with 400,000 square feet of shopping and entertainment is located in the central business district of downtown Silver Spring, Maryland. It opened its doors in 1992 and features three anchors, five marble and brass appointed levels of retail specialty stores and services, a food court, bank, restaurants and a pedestrian bridge that is connected to a multi-level parking facility. Broadway Mall (formerly Mid-Island Plaza) debuted in October, 1956, on the site of a former boys' orphanage and a dairy and vegetable farm operated by the Catholic Church. Richard and Anne Evers, who have lived in Hicksville for 50 years, remember the anticipation of Mid-Island's grand opening. "Shopping as we understood it would never be the same again," said Richard Evers, village historian and a retired teacher.

Southpark Mall is a shopping mall in the Colonial Heights, Virginia and Petersburg, Virginia area. It contains 76 stores and is anchored by Dillard's, Macy's, JC Penney and Sears.[1] The Hecht's store was renamed Macy's on September 9, 2006. On July 11, 2007, the mall opened its new Regal Cinemas Stadium 16 theater. The facility covers 68,000 square feet and includes approximately 3,100 seats. The old 6-screen theater in the food court area has converted into an extended food court. The food court now contains a Subway, Stir Fry 88, and Knockout Burgers. Sbarro is moving into the new section along with a new laser tag operation. The mall has also just finished new flooring throughout.

The Annapolis Mall (officially, Westfield Annapolis) is a shopping mall owned by The Westfield Group that is located near the junction of U.S. Route 50 and Interstate 97 in Annapolis, Maryland. Its major anchor stores include Borders Books and Music (formerly Garfinckel's), Macy's (formerly Hecht's), Lord & Taylor, Nordstrom, Sears (formerly Montgomery Ward), JCPenney, and Bow Tie Cinemas (formerly Crown Theatres).

Located north of the city of Wilmington, Delaware, in the unincorporated Brandywine Hundred area along U.S. Route 202. The mall is located a short distance south of the Pennsylvania border and it attracts shoppers from Pennsylvania and other neighboring states wishing to take advantage of tax-free shopping in Delaware. The mall opened in stages over a period of several years. The first of the mall was an Almart, a now-defunct discounter, which opened in 1965. In 1971, a Pomeroy's (now-defunct department store chain) was added. The Almart later became a Jefferson Ward (Montgomery Ward-owned discounter), and was then a Bradlees for a brief time until it was demolished for a Sears.
