Encore College Bookstores, Inc., our parent corporation was founded in September 1988, with the acquisition of Zavelle's Bookstore in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Zavelle's Bookstore has served the community of students at Temple University for over 60 years. The operation of Zavelle's fits the profile of our philosophy in that all students should have the opportunity to buy and sell books at the best possible prices.

NYU Bookstores is the official bookstore serving New York University. The bookstore operates for the convenience of NYU Students, Faculty, Staff, Administrators and campus visitors.

Specialties include Cultural Theory, Graphic Design, Poetry & Small Press Publishing, Film Studies, and Foreign & Domestic Periodicals and Journals. Open Monday through Saturday from 10 am to Midnight, Sundays 11 am to Midnight.

TASCHEN is happy to announce the opening of our second store in Los Angeles at the historic Farmers Market. This store follows the opening of Beverly Hills location in 2003. The new store is located inside the historic Clock Tower on the threshold of The Grove and the world-famous Farmers Market. A wide range of TASCHEN books will be for sale. The store operates from two weatherbeaten barns sitting amid a scenic pasture.<br> For decades, buyers and sellers of used books, old maps, and ephemera have come to Whitlock's looking for intellectual adventure. With these pages, the store now offers a selection of items online, making it possible for those unable to visit to take advantage of the store's unusual finds and bargains.

Tucked inside Newtown's historic train station since 1989, this comic destination occupies a soaring space with 14-foot ceilings that create an airy, welcoming atmosphere. On a grey winter afternoon, the tall windows flood the shop with soft light, making it an inviting refuge for browsing. The team genuinely enjoys helping both newcomers picking up their first issue and seasoned collectors hunting for their next find, approaching every customer interaction as a chance to make things memorable. The vintage bones of the old building pair perfectly with the modern passion for comics, creating a spot where conversation flows as naturally as the open floor plan suggests.

Another Bookstore is across the street from DiLoreto Hall next to Dunkin’ Donuts. We’re locally owned and independent. No corporate headquarters in another state. All Connecticut State University bookstores are run by Barnes & Noble College Booksellers. An eclectic mix of museum, bookshop, theatre, and saloon. Filmmakers, musicians, writers, and poets all regularly rent our space for premieres, readings, and concerts. Rental is for three hours and includes 25 folding chairs, podium, music stand(s) and/or screen -- all set up by our staff prior to your event. Our digital projector is not included in the initial rental fee, but can be arranged for a small, additional cost.
