Tour Colorado (formerly the Colorado Group Tour Association) is an organization, which originated from the Colorado Tourism Board (CTB) in 1988. There were approximately 10 members from across the state that met on a monthly basis to sponsor familiarization (FAM) tours and the annual tour operator reception at the National Tour Association (NTA) business exchange and conference.
Tour Colorado is the only statewide organization marketing directly to professional tour operators and group tour leaders domestically to increase the packaged travel market to Colorado. Founded by Denver residents Evan Mandell and Greg Hartley in 2005. After meeting in 1992 in Tampa, their friendship and love for motorcycling took them both to Colorado in search of the best riding roads in the country. Needless to say, they found their haven here. In their history they have logged tens of thousands of miles on many different motorcycles throughout the American West. Of course, they still needed to make a living in order to fund these initial adventures. We believe one of the greatest assets of Colorado Motorcycle Tours is the service-oriented minds of its owners. These skills were honed in the years prior to the creation of this company and will be quite apparent on the road and during the course of your vacation. Now both in their mid-thirties, they have the experience and skills to do the job well and the youthful enthusiasm to make it fun. Evan has recently relocated to California with this lovely wife Karen. Colorado Motorcycle Tours will continue operating and offering great tours throughout the area this riding season, but we'll be enlisting the help of some friends that have helped us in the past. Actor Ronald Reagan co-starred with a chimp in Bedtime for Bonzo, and red-baiting Sen. Joe McCarthy co-starred with a similar crew, in the infamous House Un-American Activities Commitee.

"We fly two flights a day, weather permitting. These flights are at sunrise and approximately two hours before sunset. This is when the winds are the calmest. Your balloon adventure will last around 2 1/2 hours with an actual flight duration of about 45 minutes to one hour. Following the flight there is a traditional champagne and hors d'oeuvres reception. Non-alcoholic beverages are provided. Reservations are required as space is very limited!! We can carry four and six people respectively plus the pilot in each balloon. Weekends tend to fill up quicker than weekdays but usually space is available a week in advance."

The foliage season for our area begins in early September. For a few weeks, nature puts on one of its most spectacular displays. From bright yellows to vibrant reds, the leaves transform, showing their rich and vibrant hues. Every year, people flock to the Northeast, to catch a glimpse of natures splendor. Now just imagine viewing this transformation from above. Seeing the leaves changing color from the air is just amazing!
September is also the month of the Adirondack Balloon Festival. Thousands of people each year show up to see 100 plus balloons fill up the autumn sky. Denise and Gabriel Werneck, a mother-and-son team, both born and raised in Rio, started Rio Hiking in 1999. They started by taking visitors on the family’s favourite hike, the Tijuca Peak, as well as visiting the historic district of Santa Teresa, where they had lived most of their lives.

A Empresa Mar Del Plata Tur é pioneira nos serviços de passeios de barco em Balneário Camboriú-SC. É uma empresa náutica estabelecida na cidade desde 1987, quando o Senhor João Chaves aqui chegou com uma pequena embarcação vindo de Bertioga-SP. Sua tripulação era formada de quatro funcionários e três piratas, sendo que o maior barco tinha capacidade para sessenta pessoas.

Em 1987, época em que foi fundada a Equipe Desafio, o pára-quedismo esportivo em Minas Gerais encontrava-se bastante defasado em relação a outros estados brasileiros. Em todo o mundo o esporte deixou de chamar parachuting (pára-quedismo), e recebe o nome de skydiving (mergulho no céu), pois a alma do negócio passou a ser as manobras realizadas em queda-livre. As competições de destaque eram aquelas disputadas em queda livre, chamadas de Trabalho Relativo (hoje Formação em Queda Livre): as equipes formavam figuras no céu antes de abrir seus pára-quedas. Em Minas, no entanto, ainda se privilegiava o velho pára-quedismo nas competições de precisão, em que o atleta deveria pousar num alvo de 10 metros e acertar uma "mosca" no centro. Não havia equipe de Trabalho Relativo.
