North Hempstead (Town) Dance Schools

Owned and operated by Husband and Wife team, Nuccio and Jodi Fera, together they have always shared the common goal of creating a family studio that would provide customers and employees with an environment that they themselves would enjoy being part of; a studio that would be filled with excellence in the arts, fun, innovative and exciting classes, talent and with integrity at all levels. A studio that their community could come to trust and count on. Twenty two years later and going strong, we continue to strive to bring the best of the arts to you.

Devoted to the education of children and adults in the art of dance. Classes are designed to encourage self expression, inspire, improve self discipline, technique, and provide an alternative for youth in a positive environment.

The studios are large, modern, fully mirrored with sprung floors specifically designed for dance. It is here that our students are trained in the disciplines of Ballet, Broadway Theater Dance, Musical Theater and Tap. Registration is on all levels, beginner to professional, children (3 years old) to adults. There is live musical accompaniment for most classes. Our Summer Workshop is an outgrowth of this school. <br> The American Theater Dance began in 1982 as The American Dancemachine, a professional company and school, whose mission it was to reconstruct, perform and preserve the great dance numbers from Broadway shows. When founder/director Lee Theodore died in 1986, we became The American Theater Dance Workshop.

Beth Jucovy has performed extensively and given workshops and classes in Duncan, ballet, modern, and jazz techniques both in the US and throughout Europe and Israel. She choreographs for and directs Dance Visions, a professional company performing works of contemporary choreographers, as well as the works of major dance pioneers. Dance Visions has been the recipient of over fifteen NYSCA decentralization grants. The company performs throughout Long Island and the NY metropolitan area. Beth also danced for a decade with Andrew Jannetti and Dancers, performing frequently at many NYC venues. She was a soloist with the Downtown Ballet Company for six years, as well as with Ameridance International, a jazz dance company based in Munich, Germany. She is an Isadora Duncan dance specialist trained since childhood by Julia Levien. She had also worked intensively with Anna Sokolow. She has received critical acclaim in the major NY papers as well as abroad for her performances

Created by Dr. Anthony Knight, our purpose is to provide you with an exhilarating, joyful Latin & Ballroom dancing experience.<br> World class Ballroom and Latin Dance instructors are friendly and help you learn any style of Ballroom or Latin dancing. We offer Latin & Ballroom dance classes for men, women, children and couples. You can just dance for fun, take wedding dance lessons or train for the Olympics where Latin & Ballroom dance is part of the competition. <br> Dancing has many benefits including cardio fitness, losing weight, relieving stress, building confidence, coordination and self-discipline but the best part of dance is communication and contact with others. No other sport offers the spiritual, mental and physical enrichment that dance can offer.
