Beckley Inc. has always prided themselves on using the finest hand picked materials on all our products ranging from the hardwoods used in making a boxspring to the blended cotton felt we have sent to us from down south. In addition to that, and most importantly, we believe in the quality of our workmanship. Each piece of custom bedding is all hand made by our skilled craftsman. Throughout the years, even with the temptation of commercial machinery, we managed to keep our manufacturing very personal as to each client's needs. Each mattress is hand filled and hand stitched, each boxspring is hand tied and individually upholstered and so on. That's why we here at Charles H. George Smith was most well known for cabinet making and upholstery during the first quarter of the 19 th Century and was spoken of in the same breath as contemporaries Henry Holland and Thomas Hope.
He made furniture in a wide, eclectic range of tastes, based generally on the late neo-classical style, but also including neo-gothic style work and chinoiserie. He produced several pattern books the first being "A Collection of Designs for Household Furniture and Interior Decoration.

Lin-Weinberg gallery was founded in 1995 by Andy Lin and Larry Weinberg to create a permanent retail space in which to present a diverse collectiion of modern design and decorative art.
Prior to opening the gallery, Andy and Larry were show exhibitors at major twentieth century/modern venues.

The first of his signature collections, this hand-finished and one-of-a-kind line is the essence of understated elegance, combining Van Den Brulle's passion for beauty with an insistence on fine craftsmanship and high quality.

Classic Sofa was founded over 17 years ago by Maurice Stone and his sons with the goal of providing upholstered furniture of old world quality and style at an approachable price. Originating from the Flat Iron District in New York City we have grown to a modest group of showrooms servicing some of the finest communities in the Northeast as well as becoming an essential resource to the trade.
All of our furniture is handmade by seasoned craftsman in our own workrooms (one of the secrets to our industry-leading delivery times) so we can maintain the highest standards. reGeneration is a ten-year-old store dealing in Mid-Century vintage furniture, with a focus on the 50's. The store specializes in vintage pieces from American and Danish designers, such as Florence Knoll, George Nelson, Edward Wormley, Jens Risom, Milo Baughman, Hans Wegner, Arne Jacobsen and Borg Mogensen. The store combines a large selection of everyday pieces with hard to find collectibles, but what really makes it unique among Mid-Century outlets is the consistency in selection, style and price.

We first opened our doors in 1962 as a family business. A husband and wife team named Gordon and Carole Segal, and one (yes, count them... one) eager sales associate who was enthusiastic about their vision. Mike's Furniture Store is a furniture store with ready-made pieces, finished or unfinished. There are many colors of products for you to choose from with our color matching chart. Custom made furniture is also available if you bring in a sketch of what it is you want. We will then attempt to build it. Moldings are available to add onto anything you may already have.

Most people associate the name Aga with good food and fine living. And although it’s often thought of as quintessentially British, the Aga actually began life in Sweden. The celebrated cooker found in 750,000 households worldwide was invented by Dr Gustav Dalén, a blind Nobel Prize-winning physicist. Appalled that his wife and their maid had to constantly tend to their old-fashioned range, Dalén set out to design a modern cooker that would look after itself. It’s unlikely Dalén could have predicted that his invention would go on to be widely acclaimed as a design icon, but it has. In the year 2000, the BBC published a retrospective of the 20th Century highlighting what it considered to be the top three design icons: first was the Coca-Cola® contour bottle, second was the VW™ Bug and third was the Aga cooker.

The Gracious Home Story Of course, there are many “beginnings.” We could talk about childhoods spent collecting seashells in Camaguey. But let’s just start with 1963, when Natan Wekselbaum and his brother left Cuba for New York City and opened up a little neighborhood hardware store on the Upper East Side. Nuts. Bolts. Nothing fancy.
Well, as everyone knows, New Yorkers don’t exactly fall all over themselves every time a new shop cuts its ribbon—but the charming duo made Gracious Home stand out.
