Em seu primeiro século de existência, a par das atividades sociais, culturais, esportivas e assistenciais inerentes a entidades congêneres, o Clube Militar construiu uma estrutura sólida que permite, sem solução de continuidade, prosseguir sua trajetória marcante, mantendo-se fiel ao pensamento de seus fundadores e garantindo a firmeza de seus ideais.

O Museu do Clube Militar procura, mediante uma ligeira mostra de peças históricas de seu acervo, documentar a veracidade das assertivas acima formuladas, homenageando destarte os responsáveis pela direção da entidade ao longo de seu primeiro século de existência, graças aos quais se concretizou extraordinário patrimônio material, cultural, moral e cívico.

O São Paulo Futebol Clube (conhecido apenas por São Paulo e cujo acrônimo é SPFC) é uma associação esportiva brasileira. Fundado em 1930, e refundado em 1935 após um breve período de inatividade, é um dos principais clubes esportivos do país e do mundo. Possui alguma tradição em outros esportes que não o futebol — sua principal modalidade e única profissional —, tais como o atletismo e o boxe.

O JIC reativou a sua escola de vela. Reformou os espaços essenciais para o laser, tais como a Boate Mada e o parque infantil. Disponibilizou "lan house" e "wireless".

Fundado em 1932, o Jockey Club Brasileiro teve como primeiro presidente Linneo de Paula Machado, que foi o responsável pela construção do Hipódromo da Gávea, a maior obra da cidade na época. Lá é realizado anualmente o Grande Prêmio Brasil, a prova de maior expressão do turfe nacional, também famosa pela elegância dos trajes dos visitantes da festa. O Jockey Club também possui uma sede social no Centro do Rio de Janeiro, localizada num prédio de 12 andares, projeto assinado pelo arquiteto Lúcio Costa. As dependências são amplas e espaçosas, contando com 363 salas para escritórios, sete lojas, um auditório servido por elevadores especiais, 13 andares de estacionamento para 800 carros. No 11º e 12º andares, os jardins são de Burle Marx e os interiores do arquiteto Jorge Hue. Atividades: piscina, hidroginástica, saunas, massagiata, estética, quadra poliesportiva, ginástica.

A LOB Academia de Tênis, foi fundada em 1977 com apenas 04 quadras e desde então não parou de crescer. Oferece hoje 11 quadras de tênis, sauna masculina e feminina, ginástica , musculação, equipe de competição, personal trainer, preparação física para atletas de competição e amplo estacionamento. Funciona como um clube, isto é, todas as pessoas que quiserem frequentar suas dependências e usar seus serviços terão de pagar uma mensalidade que varia conforme a categoria do sócio.

O Clube Recreativo Português de Jacarepaguá, chamado inicialmente de Rancho Folclórico Tricanas de Coimbra, foi fundado em 26 de julho de 1966, e nesses mais de 40 anos tem contribuído de forma significativa para a sociedade. Nesse tempo sempre teve como missões congregar o culto à comunidade lusíada, a amizade entre os povos brasileiro e português, difundir a história de Coimbra, através de suas belezas naturais e sua riqueza folclórica, além de promover reuniões culturais, recreativas, artísticas, bailes e tudo mais que possa concorrer para atingir os seus fins.

O Esporte Clube Cocotá, fundado em 1922, passou por várias transformações para que hoje, possa proporcionar aos seus associados um ambiente de lazer e tranquilidade. A Academia do Corpo já está em pleno funcionamento em suas instalações.

A idéia da criação do clube nasceu de uma visita que o Comendador Manuel Lopes Valente fez à sua terra natal, a Freguesia de Sanfins do Conselho da Vila da Feira em 1951/1952, após uma ausência de 24 anos.
Assim que retornou da viagem ao Rio de Janeiro, contatou a amigos conterrâneos e pediu ajuda para fundar uma Casa como nome de sua Vila da Feira que serviria como uma extensão natural do consulado das Terras de Santa Maria.
Em 4 de julho de 1953, nas dependências do Bar Luiz, no centro da cidade, foi realizada o encontro que serviu como marco inicial da nova entidade.
O clube proporciona aos seus associados as seguintes atividades e eventos: natação, tai chi chuan, vôlei, hidroginástica, judô, futsal, atelier de pintura e desenho, Arraial Quinta do Castelo, Festa das Fogaceiras.

Quando Oscar Cox fundou o Fluminense Football Club em 21 de julho de 1902, numa sede localizada no número 51 da Rua Marquês de Abrantes, no Flamengo, não poderia imaginar que um clube marcado pela nobreza logo tomaria o gosto popular. Desde os seus primórdios, o Tricolor teve entre seus sócios e freqüentadores representantes das famílias mais tradicionais do Rio de Janeiro. Hoje, o clube está entre as 10 maiores torcidas do país. A sua bela sede das Laranjeiras, de aspecto europeu, contrasta com a paixão unicamente brasileira de seus torcedores.

Club Español de Niterói – CEN, foi fundado no dia 26 de março de 1964, com o nome de Centro Recreativo Espanhol de Niterói. A estrutura física do Club inclui restaurante, lanchonete, saunas, salas de aulas, parque infantil e uma grande reserva florestal. O complexo esportivo do Club constitui-se de duas piscinas, uma para adultos ( 30mX15m ) e uma infantil ( Ø10m ), salão de jogos, quadra de vôlei e campo de futebol society de grama sintetica. O social é formado pelo salão de festa (700 m2) e a churrasqueira para receber os sócios e seus convidados. O Club possui ainda, uma biblioteca com mais de 3500 obras em espanhol e galego.

Fundado em 14 de março de 1980 resultante da fusão do Fluminense Atlético Clube com o Serrano Futebol Clube, ambos de Nova Friburgo-RJ. O primeiro presidente foi Francisco Mastrângelo. Os principais fundadores foram: Francisco Sampaio, Jorge El-Jaick, Tuffy El-Jaick, João Bizzoto, Ernesto P. Faria e Henrique F. Leal.

A AABB Niterói teve a sua presença marcada pela famosa sede localizada no bairro residencial de São Francisco, zona sul da cidade.

O Montanha, associação sem fins lucrativos, fundado em 1949, ficou conhecido como o clube dos magistrados durante muitos anos. Situa-se na Estrada Velha da Tijuca, 407/447 - Alto da Boa Vista. O Clube vem se modernizando ao longo dos anos e é conhecido também como o "clube natureza", pois, está encravado na floresta da Tijuca.

O Santos FC foi fundado no dia 14 de abril de 1912, por iniciativa de três esportistas da Cidade (Raymundo Marques-foto-, Mário Ferraz de Campos e Argemiro de Souza Júnior) que convocaram uma assembléia na sede do Clube Concórdia (localizado na Rua do Rosário- Atual Avenida João Pessoa), para a criação de um time de futebol. Durante a reunião, surgiu a dúvida quanto ao nome que seria dado à essa agremiação. Várias sugestões apareceram: Concórdia, Euterpe ou Brasil Atlético. Mas os participantes da reunião aclamaram, por unanimidade, a proposta de Edmundo Jorge Araújo: a denominação Santos Foot-Ball Clube.
