The Vicky Simegiatos Dance Company is a non-profit organization whose sole purpose is to provide cultural enrichment for the Brooklyn community. Our sponsors include BACA (Brooklyn Cultural Arts Association), New York State Council of the Arts, the New York Life Foundation, and Body Wrappers. We have established, through auditions, a Scholarship Program for talented young students who receive dance training free of charge, and participate in our professional productions.

Established by artistic director Igal Perry in 1983. Since its inception, the Center's goal has been to provide a broad spectrum of dance education within a nurturing and professional environment, preparing dancers for the continually evolving international dance arena. The school at Peridance Center offers an open program of classes, a comprehensive Foreign Students Program, and a graded children's program named the PeriChild Program. The Center is also the home of Peridance Ensemble, the renowned contemporary dance company.

Eddie Zawacki began his early training at Balanchine’s School of American Ballet. He has created an entire body of choreographic work on his own company the Zawacki Ballet.
Recently completing a year with ballet icon David Howard at 211 West 61st Street, NYC, they together taught and hosted several dance concerts with guests from NYCB, ABT, and Joffrey Ballet. Ed was a guest teacher at the Alvin Ailey American Dance Center in the same facility.
Opening his own dance loft on 23rd Street in Chelsea, NYC served as a teaching facility and performing space for workshops, and choreographic projects.
Returning from London, Paris, and LA made him one of the most sought after men in the business, and has put him on the map as one of the most gifted teachers, and choreographers of his generation.

Before going to socials we suggest to learn at least basic steps of few most popular social dances like: Salsa, Merengue, Foxtrot, Waltz, Tango, Swing and Hustle. The Frank Ohman School of Ballet was founded in 1979 by Frank Ohman, former soloist at New York City Ballet (NYCB) and is one of the few remaining direct links to the teaching of George Balanchine. Currently located in Commack, the school serves as a training ground for promising young dancers and offers aspiring students the opportunity to learn classical ballet in the tradition of George Balanchine. The Frank Ohman School of Ballet will guide your child from first steps to advanced technique, while instilling joy for this timeless art form. The school is a non-competition, non-recital school focusing on proper classical technique.
