Rockefeller Center is a complex of 19 commercial buildings covering 22 acres in the heart of Midtown Manhattan, New York City. The development was was conceived on the verge of the Great Depression, and Rockefeller financed the center personally, making it the largest private building project in modern history at the time.

Captain Sean Quigley took his first balloon ride in 1979 and fulfilled a lifelong dream of being a balloon pilot in 1987. An F.A.A. licensed commercial pilot; he has since logged over 2100 hours flying balloons in festivals and races from Florida to Maine as well as in Europe. In 1989, he placed sixth of 38 countries represented in LeCoup Du Monde,” World Cup balloon race in Belfort, France. He has piloted his balloon over the brim of Niagara Falls several times and placed ninth in the U.S. in a distance “long jump” competition traveling over 114 miles in 2.5 hours. In 2004 he flew in a weeklong festival over the Alps at Chateau d’Oex, Switzerland. He has owned and operated Balloons Over Letchworth since 1993.

Our most frequently used training hill is at the base of the mountain and students can just turn their eyes skyward to catch a glimpse of pilots soaring and anticipate the thrill that they may soon experience.
Hang gliding is a sport that is somewhat dependent on weather conditions since gliders must launch and land facing into the wind. Mountain Wings offers two gently sloped bunny hills facing different wind directions so that you will have the best chance of being able to fly if weather conditions safely allow it."

ABT, as its name indicates, was formed to promote bicycle touring in the Adirondack Region of New York State. The principal goal is to take people on road bike rides in the Southern Adirondack Region. Home base is in Lake George and with rides of varying length, difficulty and duration in Warren, Washington, Saratoga, Essex and Hamilton Counties. Recreational riding and fun touring --- bicycle tours are generally low-key, at a reasonable pace with time to talk during the ride.

Due to airspace restrictions and congested cities in the tri-state area, Middletown is a perfect blend of beauty and convenience. We are only an hour from New York City and much closer to Rockland, Westchester, Yonkers, Putnam, Dutchess, Ulster and Sullivan Counties. I don't know of any balloon ride operators in Nassau or Suffolk Counties of Long Island. I can tell you we've flown hundreds of Long Islanders and they've all told me it was well worth the trip!"

You will go to the favelas of Vila Canoas and Rocinha, the largest one in the country. Picturesque from a distance, once closer they reveal their complex architecture, developing commerce and friendly people. Most Samba Schools participating in the Carnival parade come from favelas. The tour changes their reputation of areas related to violence and poverty only. Don't be shy, you are welcome there, and local people support your visit. Estes grupos realizam percursos com duração de aproximadamente 3 horas, que são pré-determinados pela organização da Paletada, através de uma planilha. O cenário desta competição é a natureza, com diversas trilhas, caminhos, rios, riachos e todas as outras surpresas que este tipo de esporte, ao ar livre, proporciona ao participante.
