A not-for-profit arts organization that teaches and preserves traditional Chinese performing arts while nurturing innovations for diverse audiences across the United States. Core programs support artists of the highest caliber and provide vital links between communities and across generations. The Center is supported, in part, with public funds from the New York State Council on the Arts and the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs. O Studio de Ballet Bertha Rosanova foi fundado em 1957 numa vila em Laranjeiras, onde está localizado até hoje. É uma escola de dança especializada em ballet clássico, dirigida pela prima bailarina absoluta do Theatro Municipal do Rio de Janeiro, Bertha Rosanova. O Studio oferece aulas para alunos a partir dos 3 anos de idade e sua estrutura educacional é dividida em 6 níveis. A equipe atual de professores é composta por bailarinos do Theatro Municipal e os formados na própria escola.

A Academia de Dança Jimmy de Oliveira dispõe de generoso espaço com aproximadamente 200 m2 e está localizado à Rua do Catete, 112 - sobrado, ao lado do metrô. O ensino enfatiza o desenvolvimento da coordenação motora equilíbrio, flexibilidade, musicalidade, socialização e logicamente a arte de dançar.
O aprendizado pode ser iniciado pelos passos básicos, dependendo da desenvoltura do aluno e, gradativamente as exigências técnicas irão aumentando com o natural aperfeiçoamento de cada um (a). O Estúdio conta com ar condicionado, mesas e serviço de bar. |

A Academia de Dança de salão Espaço Brasil comemora este ano 10 anos de muita história e dança. Fundada em março de 1997, por Marta Ribeiro, a Academia agrega para Belo Horizonte um espaço de dança completo onde os alunos aprendem a dançar, fazem novas amizades e ainda contam com uma semana repleta de eventos para poder praticar sua dança e se divertir!

Carlinhos de Niterói - Professor, bailarino e coreógrafo, segue a metodologia do seu mestre Jaime Arôxa por 15 anos. Inaugurou a filial Jaime Arôxa Niterói no dia 07/7/2001. Se formou em Dança de Salão e Coreografia pela Universidade Estácio de Sá no dia 4 de julho de 2008. Viaja para Buenos Aires uma ou duas vezes ao ano levando alunos para passeio e para reciclagem de tango.

Há 25 anos o professor e coreógrafo, Acácio de Souza, se dedica à pesquisa e ensino do samba em suas diversas modalidades, além de ser um representante legítimo do samba de gafieira do final da década de 70, preservando suas características originais e tipicamente mineiras.
O samba de gafieira é uma forma de dançar brincando, buscando recurso em variadas coreografias, com muita irreverência e alegria.

An integral part of the fabric of New York City for 30 years, Battery supports the creative process; educates children in the New York City schools; enriches the general public through local programs and performances, national and international tours, and international arts exchange programs.
Based in Lower Manhattan, Battery Dance Company has produced nearly 100 original dance works choreographed by its founder and artistic director Jonathan Hollander, in collaboration with a diverse array of composers and designers, and its cast of outstanding dancers. |

“Gotta Dance” Studio opened its doors on September 15, 2001. Owner, Miss Terri as she is known by her students, starting dancing at the age of 5 and always dreamed, that one day, she would open her own studio. She continued taking dance classes and was also a member of a local community theatre group for many years. There she was able to learn and develop not only her love of dance, but also her love for music, singing and acting. The performing arts has always been a big part of Miss Terri's life.
Mr. Ron & Miss Terri decided the time had come for them to fulfill the life long “Dream” and together they started searching for the perfect place. Their hope was to find a small studio where students could come and learn to love dance & music while having fun in a friendly and safe environment. Today, they are very proud of their accomplishments and are extremely grateful to all the wonderful families who have touched their lives. Their goal is to continue with this very gratifying work and in the process make “Gotta Dance” Studio, for all the families who are a part of it, a place that will be remembered and remain forever close to their hearts! |

When you enter the doors of this 5000 square foot studio, you are taken back by the interior décor. Not expecting a dance studio to look like this, the interior boasts leather walls, fabric cushions, sconces, slate floors, zebra carpet and an array of vivid colors that move everyone to want to dance. The décor alone makes you want to jump. Each dance room is equipped with floating floors - two hard wood and one Mylar : 3000 square foot of pure dance space; two lobbies, four bathrooms, vending machines, an office, 10 foot mirror walls, incredible sound, warehouse style ceilings, lighting and funky brick walls to top off this real live Manhattan style space. L.A. Dance is not just a fun place to learn to dance; it’s the hottest thing in town. It’s the coolest place to be and it’s totally up with the times. The students are proud to call this home.

Ana Vitória é professora de Técnica de Dança Contemporânea e Composição Coreográfica de duas Universidades de dança na cidade do Rio de Janeiro. Seus workshops de técnicas de dança objetivam conduzir os bailarinos à um um maior entendimento da linguagem utilizada por essa criadora, bem como fazê-los investigar através das ferramentas pós modernas utilizadas pela dança, novos contornos e possibilidades gestuais Público alvo: bailarinos, coreógrafos e professores de dança |

O Lyceu destaca-se pela qualificação de seus professores, por sua metodologia de ensino e por promover espetáculos nos principais festivais de dança no país e no exterior. No Lyceu todas as faixas etárias são beneficiadas: crianças, adolescentes, adultos e terceira idade. Há diversas atividades para todos.
