É uma empresa náutica estabelecida na cidade desde 1987, quando o Senhor João Chaves aqui chegou com uma pequena embarcação vindo de Bertioga-SP. Sua tripulação era formada de quatro funcionários e três piratas, sendo que o maior barco tinha capacidade para sessenta pessoas.

Em Minas, no entanto, ainda se privilegiava o velho pára-quedismo nas competições de precisão, em que o atleta deveria pousar num alvo de 10 metros e acertar uma "mosca" no centro. Não havia equipe de Trabalho Relativo.
