Rockefeller Center is a complex of 19 commercial buildings covering 22 acres in the heart of Midtown Manhattan, New York City. The development was was conceived on the verge of the Great Depression, and Rockefeller financed the center personally, making it the largest private building project in modern history at the time.
The complex was designed by a team of architects and artists, who created a collection of buildings with a strong Art Deco aesthetic. The buildings are adorned with sculptures, mosaics, and murals that reflect the cultural and social influences of the time. The centerpiece of the complex is the 70-story Rockefeller Plaza, which was the world's tallest building when it was completed in 1933.
Today, Rockefeller Center is one of the world's most famous tourist destinations and a vibrant commercial hub. It is home to a variety of shops, restaurants, and entertainment venues, as well as the famous ice rink and Christmas tree that are on display during the holiday season. The idea of a ski resort in the Northern Catskills was introduced by a New York State legislative committee in the late 1950s. They considered developing a state-run resort on Cave Mountain, just off Main Street in the Town of Windham. Although this project never advanced beyond the discussion stage, the idea took hold and a group of private investors purchased the land for a ski area in 1960 and Windham Mountain was born. During its 50 years of existence the resort has become associated with customer care and attentiveness to its guests.

"The Eagle Institute public programs are held during the winter months, when 150-200 bald eagles migrate to this region. To minimize disturbance during the breeding season, our only public program from March through July is in cooperation with the Basha Kill Area Association’s thebashakill.org Nature Watch program. We also collect data about the region’s nesting pairs and encourage participation through our Kitchen Counters Program."

Since its birth almost forty years ago as the "First Inland Oceanarium", the Aquarium of Niagara has seen over 8 million visitors, tourists, teachers, and students pass through its doors. It was the first aquarium to use synthetic seawater to exclusively maintain marinelife. More than forty exhibits showcase 1,500 aquatic animals from around the globe.
The Aquarium of Niagara is one of only 17 institutions in North America to house a colony of the endangered Peruvian penguin. Two daily penguin feedings provide visitors an opportunity to "Meet the Keeper" and learn about these fascinating aquatic birds!
The schedule includes exciting shark feedings (on alternate days), and scheduled sessions with the California sea lions in the 100,000 gallon central pool. Moray eels, piranhas, clownfish and the brilliantly colored fish of the coral reefs compliment the regional freshwater exhibits of sturgeon, gar and rock bass.

Our adventures offer many different scenic excursions departing from Utica's beautifully restored Union Station. This is our longest adventure, offering a full day trip, passing many flagstops including Holland Patent, Remsen, Forestport, Woodgate and Otter Lake. The journey is over 2 hours each way with a 4-1/2 hour layover in Thendara in the summer.

The massive stone bridge arch - the largest marble cave entrance in the east - dominates this spectacular display of ancient Adirondack geology from rock over one billion years old. Take a walking stick, map, and camera and set out on a self-guided, above-ground, natural stone step nature trail and experience up-close the many unique rock features, such as potholes, grottos, a gorge and mill site waterfalls. Descend into lighted surface caves with raging waterfalls or tranquil dark pools. The Dutchess County Agricultural Society, Inc. is a nonprofit 501c5 corporation. The 80 member society is made up of interested men and women who elect the 16 member Board of Directors. This group oversees all aspects of the operation of the fair and all off season events. The General Manager works with and communicates directly to the Board. A permanent staff of eleven produces the various events and maintains the 162-acre facility throughout the year. The number of paid staff and volunteers during the fair grows to several hundred.

AAA Paintball has been open for 15 years and has 100 plus rentals to offer. We are a quality insured and safety certified organization. We encourage players to bring their own equipment but are a "field paint only" facility because paint quality is controllable. Players and groups are also welcome to schedule private groups.

Founded in 1900 by the financier Spencer Trask and his wife Katrina, herself a poet, Yaddo is an artists' community located on a 400-acre estate in Saratoga Springs, New York. Its mission is to nurture the creative process by providing an opportunity for artists to work without interruption in a supportive environment.
Yaddo offers residencies to professional creative artists from all nations and backgrounds working in one or more of the following media: choreography, film, literature, musical composition, painting, performance art, photography, printmaking, sculpture, and video. Artists may apply individually or as members of collaborative teams of two or three persons. They are selected by panels of other professional artists without regard to financial means. Residencies last from two weeks to two months and include room, board, and studio.

Allegany State Park’s 65,000 acres is known for its primitive forested valleys, un-glaciated landscape, fall leaves and wildlife. The two developed areas, Red House and Quaker, make this the largest state park in the system. Both areas offer sand beaches, picnic areas, museums, hiking trails and naturalist walks.

Founded in 1977 with 100 acres of rented land, Ron and Nancy have transformed the business to include 4000 acres of owned and rented land raising a variety of field crops and vegetables, a 400 cow dairy, a grain processing enterprise, and a very popular and well respected farm tour and agricultural education enterprise.

Roberson Museum and Science Center is a complex institution encompassing the Binghamton campus of museum and science center, including historic buildings.
Roberson Memorial, Inc. was established by the will of Alonzo Roberson in 1934 to create an “educational center …for the use and benefit of all people.” The Roberson Memorial Center (as first called) opened to the public in 1954 in the Roberson Mansion.

A landmark beacon on the Hudson River, the Saugerties Lighthouse is a venerable red-brick lighthouse built in 1869 at the mouth of the Esopus Creek. The Saugerties Lighthouse Conservancy maintains the lighthouse and adjacent lands for the enjoyment of the public.

The 600-acre wetland preserve maintained by the Jamestown Audubon Society supports a great variety of wildlife. Hikers who are patient and quiet are treated to many spectacular finds - no matter what the season.

The Hudson-Mohawk region all around Albany, Schenectady, and Troy was the Silicon Valley of the nineteenth century, and thus in many ways it was North America's original model for how the entrepreneurial use of cutting-edge technology can foster regional economic prosperity. The eastern terminus of the Erie Canal, finished in 1825, was here. The first railroad line designed specifically for use by steam locomotives connected Albany and Schenectady. Henry Burden, a Scottish immigrant who took over a nationally-ranked iron works in South Troy in the early 1800s, was the inventor of the "hook-head" railroad spike that is now in common usage.
