For the past 14 years, T.Carlton's has become one of the fastest growing salons in Long Island. With 32 stations, a full service day spa and a new line of our own custom-formulated salon products, T.Carlton's is on the forefront of the salon industry.
T.Carlton's began as an idea of Thomas and Christine Carlton in 1992. Thomas was on the verge off quitting the industry all together. He had difficulty finding a company to work for that took the profession and the clients as seriously as he did. He was going out to buy a suit and tie, as wife Christine tried to not let that happen. They instead started their search for a perfect little 5 station salon. From there, T.Carlton's has gradually developed into a 65 employee, 32 design station, a full service day spa, and a line of haircare products within their 6000sq. ft of retail space.

The Rizzieri Salons and Day Spa are operated in the family tradition of service started some 75 years ago by Franco Cipriotti, continued by his daughter and son-in-law, Anna and Sal, and now by grandson Frank Rizzieri.

As soon as your child walks through door, they will be surrounded by award winning toys, such as Thomas the Train, in play area. When it is time for your child's haircut, they will be able to choose which novelty haircutting chair they would like to sit in. "We would like to share our story of how Not So Plain Jane's has become the award winning Salon and Spa that it is today. Nick and I started searching for a new location in 1999. After viewing a few locations, we came across this old mill building with all of its character and charm. When we first visited the 9200 sq. ft. space, Nick, my husband, knew right away this was the perfect space for us; I (Joni), worried that it was too big - after all the space we were moving from was 1800 sq. ft.
It took over a year and many trips back and forth to the space before we decided to jump in with both feet (actually Nick jumped, I was reluctantly pulled in!). We designed the new space keeping as much of the original structure and historical charm, with the high ceilings and wooden beams, as possible.
