We invite you to come on out and fly! The club operates primarily on weekends and most holidays, April 1st through November 30th from 10:00AM to Sunset. The Club's current base of operation is Saratoga County Airport, in Saratoga Springs, New York.

Weekends are an ideal time to visit as you can chat live with the zookeepers and learn how they care for the animals. Maybe even find out what your favorite animal does when you're not there. These are typical reactions first-time balloonists have after floating on air. Ballooning is unlike anything else you've ever done. You'll have a 360-degree panoramic view of the countryside from your stable perch. Because you are moving with the wind, you won't feel it - regardless of how strong it may be. Big Apple Greeter's office is staffed by 6 paid staff and about 35 volunteers who work in every aspect of the program, from answering visitors’ questions and matching visitors with Greeters, to computer tech support and special events. What might look easy to do on the surface (you submit a request and a volunteer meets you at your accommodation) actually takes a large infrastructure to support. We receive over 10,000 requests a year, and it takes a lot of people to make sure the right volunteer speaking the right language is meeting the right visitors at the right time and location.
