Located in Queensbury, New York about 15 miles south of Lake George and about 15 miles north of Saratoga. Flying in Warren, Washington and Saratoga counties. Flying area offers incredible views of the Green Mountains of Vermont and the Adirondack Mountains of New York. The area has many small communities with rolling farmland making for great photo opportunities. There's also a good chance you'll see deer, hawks, cranes, or other wild life during your flight.
The foliage season for our area begins in early September. For a few weeks, nature puts on one of its most spectacular displays. From bright yellows to vibrant reds, the leaves transform, showing their rich and vibrant hues. Every year, people flock to the Northeast, to catch a glimpse of natures splendor. Now just imagine viewing this transformation from above. Seeing the leaves changing color from the air is just amazing!
September is also the month of the Adirondack Balloon Festival. Thousands of people each year show up to see 100 plus balloons fill up the autumn sky. Whatever month you decide to take a flight, you won't be disappointed with the view. Almost all the pictures on it are from our flying area. http://www.majesticballoonflights.com/
