She then developed and opened Blue Sky Day Spa on August 1, 2000 with a small loan from Union Bank of California.
Seven years later her business supports eight employees and has over 24,000 clients on file. Blue Sky Day Spa has made Best Of Lists 2007 for KCRA A List, Citysearch.com, Outword Magazine, Sacramento Magazine, and recently received The McAuley Society Award from the Mercy Foundation. Cindy has chaired the Crocker Art Gallery Ball in 2004, 2005, and 2006 and is currently a member of Nawbo, East Sacramento Chamber, Metro Chamber, and Sacramento Convention Visitors Bureau.

The mission of Strada Salon and Day Spa is to provide a location where support, compassion and understanding is available for those experiencing the traumatic effects of cancer treatment. We wish to do our small part in alleviating some of the collateral suffering a cancer patient undergoes.
