Flatiron Crossing Mall is a shopping mall owned by Macerich Property Group in Broomfield, Colorado. It has many shops, including Abercrombie and Fitch, Hollister, American Eagle, Apple, Dicks Sporting Goods, and Aeropostale. It also has a large food court and outdoor shopping center. It has a sandbox and play area for children, and many hang-out spots for teens and young adults. It also includes many kiosks outside of the shops that have a variety of items to buy. The mall includes several water features outside; one a 30 foot natural waterfall and a smaller pond feature outside the food court.
The FlatIron Crossing mall is one of three shopping venues in the FlatIron Improvement District, which operates the free Zip Shopping Shuttle. The Zip connects shoppers and employees with FlatIron Marketplace and Mainstreet at FlatIron. The Zip also connects with local and RTD regional bus routes. The Mall at Barnes Crossing is a regional shopping mall located northeast of downtown Tupelo, Mississippi. It is managed and patrtially owned by David Hocker & Associates and is home to over 97 specialty shops, 5 anchor store tenants, an 8-screen Cinemark movie theater, and a 600-seat food court. The mall attracts customers from both Northeast Mississippi and Northwest Alabama. The mall is home to shops and restaurants like Abercrombie & Fitch, Sweet Peppers Deli, Ann Taylor LOFT, and Ruby Tuesday. David Hocker & Associates also manages an outdoor strip shopping center called Market Center to the east of the mall, between two major entrances. Southaven Towne Center is an open-air regional lifestyle center located in the Memphis, Tennessee suburb of Southaven, Mississippi. The shopping center is owned and managed by CBL & Associates, who developed the property and opened it in October 2005. It was reported that upon opening, the Southaven Towne Center was expected to contribute 1000 jobs to the local economy. Tysons Corner Center, located in the Tysons Corner unincorporated area in Fairfax County, Virginia, United States (near McLean), opened to the public in 1968, becoming one of the first fully enclosed, climate-controlled shopping centers in the greater Washington area. (The fully enclosed Iverson Mall in Hillcrest Heights, Maryland, opened in 1967.) It is the largest shopping mall in the state and in the Baltimore-Washington area.
There are plans to extend the Washington Metro subway westward to Tysons Corner and eventually out to Dulles Airport. The Tysons Central 123 Silver Line station is planned to be on the north side of the shopping center where Tysons Boulevard crosses State Route 123 (Chain Bridge Road). The mall contains nearly 200 stores and the mall area is 1,500,000 sq ft, making it the largest mall in the Kansas City Metro Area.
