With the beginning of a new millennium, social dancing is again a significant part of popular culture for all generations. Today the Arthur Murray Franchised Dance Studios continue a tradition of more than 88 years in teaching the world to dance. The history of the Arthur Murray Franchised Dance studios began in 1912 with a man named Arthur Murray, an American symbol of entrepreneurial success and social dancing. Murray was among the first to use advertising techniques considered cutting edge at the time. His concept of selling dance lessons by mail, one step at a time, took the use of direct mail to a new level.

All the teachers are qualified professionals and committed to their students and the art of dance. Each teacher has performed professionally and Studio E prides themselves on having a staff that's been with them for a long time too. That says alot about the wonderful atmosphere of StudioE.

Conceived by Bobbi Petri, Dance upon a time.... is the premier social dance studio in Queens and the Long Island area. Since its inception, our studio has attracted students from all over the tri-state area; we try to provide the highest quality of instruction available in a professional, yet relaxed and fun learning environment. Our ballroom, one of the largest among the NY area dance studios, regularly holds dance events of over 150-250 people; it can be partitioned into as many as 4 separate classrooms that can, depending on the dance, easily accommodate dozens of students in each.

Owned and operated by Husband and Wife team, Nuccio and Jodi Fera, together they have always shared the common goal of creating a family studio that would provide customers and employees with an environment that they themselves would enjoy being part of; a studio that would be filled with excellence in the arts, fun, innovative and exciting classes, talent and with integrity at all levels. When winter settles in and the city gets quiet, Jorday's Dance Studio becomes a warm creative hub where movement and passion take center stage. The studio's founder balances an intensive medical trajectory—currently wrapping up graduate work in pre-med studies while interning in cardiology at Parkway Hospital—with genuine commitment to building a dance community. Medical school applications to top programs are in motion, with plans to specialize in neonatal care and eventually cardiovascular surgery. What makes the studio special is how Jorday channels that same precision and discipline from her healthcare path into creating an engaging space for dancers. The studio thrives during these colder months when people seek indoor spaces to train and connect, offering continuity whether your goals are recreational or serious. It's the kind of place where you sense the instructor's intensity and dedication ripple through every class.

“Gotta Dance” Studio opened its doors on September 15, 2001. Owner, Miss Terri as she is known by her students, starting dancing at the age of 5 and always dreamed, that one day, she would open her own studio. She continued taking dance classes and was also a member of a local community theatre group for many years. There she was able to learn and develop not only her love of dance, but also her love for music, singing and acting. The performing arts has always been a big part of Miss Terri's life. <br> Mr. Ron & Miss Terri decided the time had come for them to fulfill the life long “Dream” and together they started searching for the perfect place. Their hope was to find a small studio where students could come and learn to love dance & music while having fun in a friendly and safe environment. Today, they are very proud of their accomplishments and are extremely grateful to all the wonderful families who have touched their lives. Their goal is to continue with this very gratifying work and in the process make “Gotta Dance” Studio, for all the families who are a part of it, a place that will be remembered and remain forever close to their hearts!

Many different classes during the week. Classes range from Salsa/Mambo ON 2 (commonly called "New York Style Salsa", "Nightclub Style Salsa" or just "Salsa On 2"), Latin Hustle, Merengue, Bachata, Swing, and Ballroom. Our beautifully new spacious Dance Studio occupies a central location in Glendale, Queens, convenient by public transportation and by car. The Studio's staff possess varied experience and talent in all styles of dance.

Professional and patient staff providing private lessons on every level from beginner through advanced; parties and group lessons give you the opportunity to practice and strengthen your social dancing skills.

Not your typical "ballroom" studio, Martinez Dance Studio mixes technique with culture to create a vibrant atmosphere for learning authentic Latin dancing. Martinez Studios bridges the gap between all dance styles. Our classes include: Club–style Salsa, American Ballroom, Latin Ballroom, Argentine Tango, Flamenco, Belly Dancing, Hip–Hop, House, Children´s classes. In this studio the lines of dance are dissolved and people learn for the pure spirit, love and passion of dancing. Privates and groups which create a solid foundation for the 1st time student as well as a challenge for the more advanced dancer.
