City Place Mall, an enclosed atrium style shopping center with 400,000 square feet of shopping and entertainment is located in the central business district of downtown Silver Spring, Maryland. It opened its doors in 1992 and features three anchors, five marble and brass appointed levels of retail specialty stores and services, a food court, bank, restaurants and a pedestrian bridge that is connected to a multi-level parking facility.
