Marlene's creativity lent itself to the remodeling of a barn where she opened the day spa in December of 1989. The hair salon and spa merged to become the Marlene Weber Day Spa in April of 1992. <br> We currently house over 40 technicians specializing in all aspects of hair, nails, makeup, skin and body care. This is quite unfortunate, as the South Hills Mall brought so many people in our area such fond memories over the past 30 years. Not to mention, this mall was the original; it introduced the first true indoor shopping mall experience to Poughkeepsie. Thankfully, Silver Cinemas, K-Mart, Shop Rite, and Burlington Coat Factory have remained; which we admire, support, and highly recommend. Although, unfortunately, everything else the mall had to offer has had to go."
