Park Ave Acura
It was in 1978 when the doors first opened on Park Ave BMW, which derived its name from its location, Park Avenue, in Rutherford. After almost 4 great years there, an explosion and fire completely destroyed the building. Amazingly, no one was hurt. After that, Park Ave Acura operated out of a trailer for a few months until later that year, 1982, its BMW showroom moved to Passaic Street in Maywood. This building still houses Park Ave Acura's BMW Service & Parts Center. A beautiful new BMW showroom has since been built on Route 17 North.
