A new movie theater is under construction at the mall, on part of the southern parking lot. The old cinema will be converted into "specialty stores."

Cedar Hills Crossing has been in operation since 1969, and is located approximately at the intersection of SW Cedar Hills Boulevard and Jenkins Road. An underground chemical release at the site was discovered in the 1980s.
