Stage Door School of Dance

Founded by award winning Irish dancer Nicole Dimone T.C.R.G. At the young age of 6, Nicole was introduced to the world of Irish Dance by her grandmother, who instilled in her the love and appreciation for all things Irish. Nicole began her journey at the Inishfree School of Irish Dance, under the instruction of Neil and Sean Reagan. Nicole had the opportunity to attend several workshops given by Anthony Costello, a noted teacher and adjudicator from Limerick, Ireland. She then continued her dancing career at the Mulvihill Lynch School of Irish Dance.

We strive to afford all of our students an opportunity for creative self-expression without the unnecessary pressure of professional "competition." We believe that the confidence, poise, and enrichment dance provides is valuable to the development of all children, and that, above all, it should be a positive, rewarding, and fun learning experience. We believe that dance is an art form. It is meant to be enjoyed and celebrated.

Head to either of two convenient spots—one on Maple Ave in Rockville Centre or over on Waverly Ave in Patchogue—to connect with a community that dances its way through the entire Tri-State area. Weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly socials keep the momentum going across Manhattan, Queens, and surrounding regions, offering plenty of chances to find new partners and meet fellow dancers who share your passion. Winter months bring a cozy energy to indoor venues, making it the perfect season to pick up fundamentals in Salsa, Merengue, Foxtrot, Waltz, Tango, Swing, and Hustle before hitting the floor at upcoming events. Getting comfortable with basic moves beforehand means you'll enjoy yourself more, and your dance partners will notice the difference.
