Recently, a plan has been approved to expand the mall in order to create a "lifestyle" shopping complex. With these additions, a fashion wing will be devoted to connecting Nordstrom to Macy's with high-end boutiques, several other smaller anchors, more dining options, and other new stores. By the end of 2009, these upgrades will be complete to bring Westfield Montgomery more in line with the massive Tysons Corner Center in nearby McLean, Virginia. Source

The Palisades Center, often referred to as the Palisades Mall, in West Nyack, New York is the twelfth largest Shopping Mall in the United States, and the second largest in the Tri State Area.
The mall has four levels, each of which is approximately the shape of a rectangle. Its anchor stores include Barnes & Noble, BJ's Wholesale Club, Macy's, Home Depot, JC Penney, Lord & Taylor, Staples, Best Buy, and Target. BJ's and Home Depot are not accessible from the mall itself. BJ's is on the bottom level, with Home Depot built on top of it and Target on top of that. Cedar Hills Crossing has been in operation since 1969, and is located approximately at the intersection of SW Cedar Hills Boulevard and Jenkins Road. An underground chemical release at the site was discovered in the 1980s. Considerable analysis of this release, along with other on site environmental factors, has been conducted to provide for safety of mall patrons and area residents. At least through the period 1970 to 1990 (the interval when the release occurred) the center functioned in compliance with most local governmental standards for environmental regulation. Source
