Petco Park is an open-air ballpark in downtown San Diego, California, USA. It opened in 2004, replacing Qualcomm Stadium as the home park of Major League Baseball's San Diego Padres. Before then, the Padres shared Qualcomm Stadium with the NFL's San Diego Chargers. The stadium is named after the animal and pet supplies retailer Petco, which is based in San Diego and paid for the naming rights. Source

America's most decorated Battleship is now the area's most exciting museum, open for tours, events and overnight encampments. Exploring “BB62” is experiencing history in a whole new way. Not only do you see exhibits of artifacts from the ship’s past, but you are put into the exhibit as you go through the tour route. Sit in the chair from which Admiral Halsey commanded the fleet. Stretch out on the bunks where the sailors slept. Climb into the 16” gun turret and learn how the projectiles were loaded.

The J. L. Scott Marine Education Center endeavors to enlighten the citizenry to produce a cadre of well informed and knowledgeable stewards of our coastal ecosystems. The Center supports a career based working environment utilizing formal, non-formal, free-choice learning and higher education strategies focusing on the coastal ecosystems of the northcentral Gulf of Mexico to promote careers in marine sciences and foster community involvement.

The Wyoming Dinosaur Center has 12,000 square feet of exhibition area. Fossils and life forms from earliest geologic time periods are displayed in a chronological perspective. There are over 200 displays throughout the museum. The central hall houses dozens of full-size mounted skeletons, including over 20 dinosaurs.

Surrounded by two wooden giants, Coaster Alley is not the type of place you want to walk through alone. It takes friends and guts to climb aboard Tremors, Silverwood’s signature 60-mile per hour wooden rollercoaster. After all, dropping over 100 feet and plunging through pitch-black underground tunnels of terror is not for the faint of heart. Tremors was named one of the Top 5 coasters in the nation by Teen People magazine.

"The Eagle Institute public programs are held during the winter months, when 150-200 bald eagles migrate to this region. To minimize disturbance during the breeding season, our only public program from March through July is in cooperation with the Basha Kill Area Association’s thebashakill.org Nature Watch program. We also collect data about the region’s nesting pairs and encourage participation through our Kitchen Counters Program."

Rapids on the Reservoir is a family-oriented waterpark located on the Ross Barnett Reservoir in Jackson, Mississippi. Rapids has over 25 fun filled acres of exciting water attractions and amusement rides.
Rapids also features over 3 acres of beautiful sun tanning decks and hundreds of relaxing recliners.

Designed for children and families. It is a special place to explore and discover the natural world. The four-acre garden provides horticultural experiences for creative and imaginative play. The Garden is located across the Delaware River from Philadelphia and adjacent to the Adventure Aquarium, Susquehanna Bank Center, Battleship New Jersey and Riversharks Baseball. The Children's Garden is easily accessible by the RiverLink Ferry from Penn's Landing, the PATCO High Speedline, or the River Line train.

Always something fun for everyone. With over 25 "Wacky" attractions including our three-quarter acre Lost Trail Maze, Panning for Gemstones, and the always popular Wacky Water Golf, we're sure you'll have a great time at Alabama's Big Cave and More, DeSoto Caverns Family Fun Park. Attractions are open year round with the exception of the water attractions. Water attractions close at the end of October and reopen in April.

Water World, one of America's largest family waterparks, is located just 15 minutes north of downtown Denver, Colorado, on 64 beautifully landscaped acres. Water World is celebrating it's 26th year of operation.

Jacksonville Ice & Sportsplex offers 100,000 square feet of recreation, sports and meeting space all under one roof. The Sportsplex side houses 55,000 square feet of space which include meeting space, small breakout rooms, multipurpose courts, general fitness space, and turf space. Surrounded by the same stately trees for which it was named, The Oaks, in Portland, Oregon in 2005 will celebrate its 100th consecutive year of operation, making it one of the oldest continuously operating amusement parks in America. Built by the Oregon Water Power and Navigation Company, the park opened its gates on May 30, 1905 to Portlanders who arrived by foot and on horseback, in automobiles and by boat from the Willamette River. In keeping with the design of other "Trolley Parks" across the country, most of its visitors disembarked from trolley cars which ran along the Portland-to-Oregon City tracks forming the eastern boundary of the park.

Ride high above the African Plains on the African Sky Safari. Your toes will dangle just above cheetahs, lions, giraffes and rhinos landing near one of the best chimpanzee exhibits in the world.
