The Bergen Museum

Founded in 1972, the Aviation Hall of Fame & Museum of New Jersey is dedicated to the preservation of the Garden State's distinguished, two-century aviation and space heritage. <br> The museum offers visitors an opportunity to view historic air and space artifacts, photographs, fine art and an extensive model collection.

Discover the rich heritage of Upper Saddle River at this beloved local institution, where passionate historians preserve the area's stories through the meticulously restored Hopper Goetschius House Museum and engaging year-round programming. With nearly 2,500 visitors annually and a thriving community of over 500 members, the Historical Society brings the past to life through special events like festive holiday celebrations and seasonal celebrations that invite everyone to experience local history firsthand.

The New Jersey Naval Museum is located at 78 River Street, Hackensack, New Jersey. The entrance to the parking lot is next to the Heritage Restaurant. The museum is operated by The Submarine Memorial Association, a not-for-profit corporation.

The Bergen County Historical Society (BCHS), a non-profit volunteer organization, promotes preservation, study and appreciation of local history. Beginning in 1939, our museum collections were displayed at the Steuben House, a State Historic Site. The house is now open for special events. Most of the 4,000 items in the collection are in storage.
