The Upper Saddle River Historical Society was organized in 1977 to collect, preserve, and distribute the history of the Upper Saddle River area. The Society is also responsible for the management and restoration of the Hopper Goetschius House Museum.
The Historical Society has over 500 members and is host to nearly 2,500 visitors each year to the museum complex. The Society holds program meetings each year along with special events such as the Fourth of July Concert By the Barn, Old Time Holidays with Santa in the Barn, and the Harvest Fair. |

The New Jersey Naval Museum is located at 78 River Street, Hackensack, New Jersey. The entrance to the parking lot is next to the Heritage Restaurant. The museum is operated by The Submarine Memorial Association, a not-for-profit corporation.

The Museum is temporarily closed and undergoing change. Located in the heart of the Main Street Alliance redevelopment effort for downtown Hackensack. Although this facility is smaller than the previous location, it will be a first step in getting operational again and rebuilding the museum can hold small exhibits and have student art classes, summer art camp, science & math camp, chess classes, etc,. Mastodon collection and large collection of paintings, drawings and sculptures.

Campbell-Christie House is a sandstone center-hall 4 room house with a full cellar and full garret/attic capped with a gambrel roof. The house was moved from New Milford to River Edge in 1977 onto Bergen County HIstorical Society land. The house is opened for special events by the Bergen County Historical Society (BCHS).

Founded in 1972, the Aviation Hall of Fame & Museum of New Jersey is dedicated to the preservation of the Garden State's distinguished, two-century aviation and space heritage.
The museum offers visitors an opportunity to view historic air and space artifacts, photographs, fine art and an extensive model collection. |

The Bergen County Historical Society (BCHS), a non-profit volunteer organization, promotes preservation, study and appreciation of local history. Beginning in 1939, our museum collections were displayed at the Steuben House, a State Historic Site. The house is now open for special events. Most of the 4,000 items in the collection are in storage.
