Mill Basin Kosher Deli and Fine Art Gallery, Brooklyn's Premiere Kosher Deli has been owned by Mark Schachner for the past 25 years and has established itself as an attraction to visit while in New York, because of it's Great Kosher cuisine and it's world class gallery exhibiting works by many masters of today including a collection of original works by Erté, the father of Art Deco that rivals the collection of the Metropolitan Museum in New York, turn of the century posters by Alphonse Mucha and 3-D works by James Rizzi, as well as works by Roy Lichtenstein, Marc Chagall and other great artists. We also have a Museum Gift shop.

From a small, struggling cooperative with seven Members – all owners of their own grocery stores – ShopRite has grown into the largest retailer-owned cooperative in the United States and the largest employer in New Jersey. The cooperative is comprised of 43 members who individually own and operate supermarkets under the ShopRite banner. Today, more than 50,000 people are employed by Wakefern Food Corporation, the merchandising and distribution arm of the company, and the 190 ShopRite stores in New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Pennsylvania and Delaware.

Independently owned and operated stores that go to market under the common store banner of C-Town. C-Town was founded in 1975 by a dedicated group of individuals who believed that their combined purchasing power and unified advertising program could lower the cost of groceries to their customers. This way they could better compete with the larger impersonal chain grocery store.

The Greene Grape began in 2004 with a small wine store in Fort Greene dedicated to small production wine in an affordable price range. Today that commitment has extended to a 2nd store in Manhattan.
