A small American furniture company dedicated to the creation of well crafted timeless designs.
BDDW builds each piece by hand, one at a time, in their Williamsburg Brooklyn studio. Tyler Hays, a painter and sculptor, is the company founder and head designer. Joshua Vogel, an architect and gifted craftsman, oversees the Brooklyn workshop. BDDW is known for their heirloom quality solid wood furniture, traditionally joined, in select domestic hardwoods. Their finishes are all hand rubbed with natural oils and lacquers.
In beds, tables, seating, lamps and storage, BDDW has created dozens of classics and is constantly producing new and innovative work.

The work showcased on this site represents only a fraction of our collection. Our pieces are individually crafted to size, shape and finish. All of our fine sculptured furniture is created in either metal design, or stone design - we do not work in wood.

Todd Hase Furniture, Inc. includes a full collection of upholstery, tables, casegoods, accessories and textiles. Designed by Todd Hase, the line is distinctly modern. It uses a classic vocabulary of shapes and lines to offer a pared down, simplified yet extremely palatable, ultimately usable line of home furnishings. Old world techniques of manufacturing are applied to these modern products: eight-way handtied springs fill upholstered seating and hand fitted marquetry patterns of beautiful veneers enhance tables, casegoods and lighting.

DESIRON was founded in 1997 by Frank Carfaro and his brother. The company is a continuation of a rich family tradition originating in Turin, Italy, where their great-grandfather was an ironsmith. The business is continued by Frank Carfaro, President/Founder and head of design. The business is rooted in the classical training of Mid-Century furniture design and production. Clean lines marry with rich materials and the utmost attention to detail.

Totem currently represents 40 designers and manufactures form the United States and Europe, selling their products through wholesale channels as well as its retail showroom located at 71 Franklin Street in the Tribeca neighborhood of New York City. Totem recently opened Totem Soho gallery, located in the heart of Soho on Greene Street.

Cliff Young, Ltd. is one of New York's Premier contemporary design showrooms. The Cliff Young, Ltd. style is uniquely appealing. To that end, many of the designs feature fine crafter wood and exotic wood veneers stained to specification and finished in satin or high-gloss. Cliff Young, Ltd. also offers a wide range of standard and custom upholstered pieces in fabrics, leather, ultra suede or upholstery chosen by a designer. In addition, we carry a large line of contemporary metal and glass furnitures. The company’s new approach is most evident in the spectacular display installed in the showroom, titled "designing the Millennium Home Theater." As with every Cliff Young, Ltd. projects, all designs, fabrication and installation of the home theater was executed in-house. We first opened our doors in 1962 as a family business. A husband and wife team named Gordon and Carole Segal, and one (yes, count them... one) eager sales associate who was enthusiastic about their vision. One can only imagine the office parties they had. Table for three, please. Fast forward forty years. And did it ever go fast. Today's Crate and Barrel family has grown to over 115 stores and over 6000 associates nationwide. And, we might add, still growing. While we are proud of our growth and achievements over the years, we feel it is what we fondly call the "3 P's" that has kept our vision and product as fresh and invigorated as the day we opened.

The Gracious Home Story Of course, there are many “beginnings.” We could talk about childhoods spent collecting seashells in Camaguey. But let’s just start with 1963, when Natan Wekselbaum and his brother left Cuba for New York City and opened up a little neighborhood hardware store on the Upper East Side. Nuts. Bolts. Nothing fancy.
Well, as everyone knows, New Yorkers don’t exactly fall all over themselves every time a new shop cuts its ribbon—but the charming duo made Gracious Home stand out. They gave the red carpet treatment to every person who walked through the door. Will you deliver it? Of course. Can you install it? Our pleasure. Can you find one in chartreuse? Mike's Furniture Store is a furniture store with ready-made pieces, finished or unfinished. There are many colors of products for you to choose from with our color matching chart. Custom made furniture is also available if you bring in a sketch of what it is you want. We will then attempt to build it. Moldings are available to add onto anything you may already have.

Most people associate the name Aga with good food and fine living. And although it’s often thought of as quintessentially British, the Aga actually began life in Sweden. The celebrated cooker found in 750,000 households worldwide was invented by Dr Gustav Dalén, a blind Nobel Prize-winning physicist. Appalled that his wife and their maid had to constantly tend to their old-fashioned range, Dalén set out to design a modern cooker that would look after itself. It’s unlikely Dalén could have predicted that his invention would go on to be widely acclaimed as a design icon, but it has. In the year 2000, the BBC published a retrospective of the 20th Century highlighting what it considered to be the top three design icons: first was the Coca-Cola® contour bottle, second was the VW™ Bug and third was the Aga cooker.
