ABT, as its name indicates, was formed to promote bicycle touring in the Adirondack Region of New York State. The principal goal is to take people on road bike rides in the Southern Adirondack Region. Home base is in Lake George and with rides of varying length, difficulty and duration in Warren, Washington, Saratoga, Essex and Hamilton Counties. Recreational riding and fun touring --- bicycle tours are generally low-key, at a reasonable pace with time to talk during the ride.

The foliage season for our area begins in early September. For a few weeks, nature puts on one of its most spectacular displays. From bright yellows to vibrant reds, the leaves transform, showing their rich and vibrant hues. Every year, people flock to the Northeast, to catch a glimpse of natures splendor. September is also the month of the Adirondack Balloon Festival. Thousands of people each year show up to see 100 plus balloons fill up the autumn sky. Founded by Denver residents Evan Mandell and Greg Hartley in 2005. After meeting in 1992 in Tampa, their friendship and love for motorcycling took them both to Colorado in search of the best riding roads in the country. Needless to say, they found their haven here. In their history they have logged tens of thousands of miles on many different motorcycles throughout the American West. Of course, they still needed to make a living in order to fund these initial adventures. We believe one of the greatest assets of Colorado Motorcycle Tours is the service-oriented minds of its owners. These skills were honed in the years prior to the creation of this company and will be quite apparent on the road and during the course of your vacation. Now both in their mid-thirties, they have the experience and skills to do the job well and the youthful enthusiasm to make it fun. Evan has recently relocated to California with this lovely wife Karen. Colorado Motorcycle Tours will continue operating and offering great tours throughout the area this riding season, but we'll be enlisting the help of some friends that have helped us in the past. Rockefeller Center is a complex of 19 commercial buildings covering 22 acres in the heart of Midtown Manhattan, New York City. The development was was conceived on the verge of the Great Depression, and Rockefeller financed the center personally, making it the largest private building project in modern history at the time.

Mountain Wings sits at the foot of the Ellenville Mountain site which is considered the "Hang Gliding Capital of the Northeast." It boasts a distance record of 141 miles and a duration record of 11-1/2 hours. Our most frequently used training hill is at the base of the mountain and students can just turn their eyes skyward to catch a glimpse of pilots soaring and anticipate the thrill that they may soon experience.
Hang gliding is a sport that is somewhat dependent on weather conditions since gliders must launch and land facing into the wind. Mountain Wings offers two gently sloped bunny hills facing different wind directions so that you will have the best chance of being able to fly if weather conditions safely allow it."

Denise and Gabriel Werneck, a mother-and-son team, both born and raised in Rio, started Rio Hiking in 1999. They started by taking visitors on the family’s favourite hike, the Tijuca Peak, as well as visiting the historic district of Santa Teresa, where they had lived most of their lives.
