Lorraine Massey, was born in Leichester, England, and started cutting hair in a local salon at age 13. "I went to the salon every day after school, and as often as I could on weekends. I couldn't get enough." At 16, she went to study with Martin Smith, the artistic director of Remi-Toni & Guy, and at 19, took her scissors and went traveling - to Hong Kong, Japan, and the Philippines - where she lived in a hut and cut hair on the beach.

Sparkle Beauty Studio, a space dedicated to the art of hair cutting, coloring and makeup is located in the heart of the West Village. Owned by renowned artists Gabriel Trujillo and Jeffrey Fernandez, this intimate studio is reminiscent of a backstage hair and makeup room on a Hollywood set.

Sassoon, one of the world's most recognised names in hairdressing offer women and men prestige salons with Sassoon crafted cut and colour techniques to create and evolve the effortlessly sophisticated looks their clients love. Sassoon work with hair in it's natural state, to treat it as organic material, to apply precision techniques with consideration to what will suit the individual creating a look of effortless sophistication.

The little jem of a salon was stablished over a decade ago. The stylists create fabulous cutting and colouring for men and women. They are attentive, relaxed and friendly.
