The World Financial Center consists of four copper-clad granite and glass towers that offer over 8 million square feet of prime office space for corporations around the world. Central 10-story glass pavilion, Winter Garden, featuring over 40 retail stores, restaurants, specialty shops & Services; Outdoor space over the water with breathtaking views of the Hudson River. Winter Green and the adjacent outdoor space are dedicated to private celebrations and Brookfield's Arts & An entertainment program that offers free art exhibitions, musical and cultural performances to the public throughout the year. This collection of modern buildings is ideally located in the center of Manhattan's largest neighborhood where you can enjoy a successful atmosphere. The plans for 2013 are ambitious. A collection of the best local and international outlets, six signature restaurants with water accesses and varying prices, 15 casual chef-led restaurants in an eclectic market-style setting, and a European-style market with many culinary accents.<br/> There is also plenty of green space and water access for biking, hiking and exploring. Unique rooms, works of art and events make the World Financial Center a cultural destination par excellence.

Head to this intimate Broadway venue tucked along West 49th Street in midtown Manhattan where irreverent comedy takes center stage. The Book of Mormon, a wickedly funny musical collaboration between South Park's Trey Parker and Matt Stone alongside Tony-winning composer Robert Lopez, pairs two earnest young missionaries with a destination that couldn't be further removed from their Utah roots. Parker and Casey Nicholaw jointly direct this production that's earned multiple Emmy accolades for its creators and a reputation for leaving audiences laughing through the winter nights when the theater's warm glow becomes a welcome refuge from the cold streets outside. The building itself carries over a century of theatrical history within its walls. Herbert J. Krapp's architectural vision birthed this space in 1925 as part of a grander theater-hotel development honoring 19th century actor Edwin Forrest. Through its various incarnations—first as the Coronet, then renamed after American playwright Eugene O'Neill in 1959—the venue has hosted countless productions. Playwright Neil Simon once owned the space before Jujamcyn Theatres acquired it in 1982, adding another layer to its storied Manhattan legacy.

The origins of Goju Ryu Karate are shrouded in the mists of time. Many of the techniques found in this powerful style are common to the fighting systems of South China. Emphasis is placed on breath control and conditioning. What is now called GoJu Ryu or the hard/soft system was introduced into Okinawa by Kanryo Higaonna early in this century. His primary student, Chojun Miyagi, developed the style further incorporating three new forms (kata). At that time Goju Ryu did not have an official name. After some thought the name hard/soft was taken from the Bible of Karate called BUBISHI
