Vladimir Borodin was born in Russia city of Odessa. He started his martial arts carrier at age 7, at age 15 became Junior National Champion in boxing. At age 18 became Soviet Army Champion in karate. In 1980 became 11th USSR National Champion in karate. From 1984 to 1991 trained in kickboxing and Muaythai. Vladimir Borodin trained in Amsterdam, Netherlands, London, England and Bangkok, Changmai, Uttradit, Thailand under supervision of Great Muaythai Masters like Master Pimu, Tom Harinck, Tony Moore. Vladimir is one of the New York's latest instructors for Muaythai fighters. After opening his Gym in Brooklyn, New York he raised many National, International and World Champions in kickboxing and Muaythai divisions.

Its steep gable roof gives the essence of the period. By 1934, much work had been completed including the Colonial Rose Garden and planting 13 trees to represent the original colonies. House tours are offered Friday-Sunday at 1 pm. In the midst of a collection of artifacts from the era, it is almost like stepping back to the time when our great country was still forming. The beauty and serenity overpower you while walking the grounds. Spring and summer bring the vivid colors of the trees to life. Why not stop for a minute to quite literally “smell the roses”? "I got more involved with jazz when I was in college at Boston University," Sturm says. "Boston was really hot then - there were a lot of jazz clubs and good things happening, and I caught a lot of shows." When the Sturm family decided to open a club, Ron is the one who suggested jazz. The name Iridium was chosen for several reasons. Iridium is a silvery white metal, but the word derives from iris, so it also refers to a rainbow. The Sturms liked the sound of the word, and better yet someone told them that saxophones were once lined with iridium.
