In almost every other part of the world where wine is produced people drink almost exclusively the local stuff. But not in New York. BR Wine is the e-commerce wine business associated with Blanc & Rouge, a wine shop that has been serving the historic neighborhood of Dumbo, in Brooklyn, New York, since 2000. The name is French, in honor of the founder's nationality and passion, but the stock is international, covering all major wine producing regions.

With wine’s growing popularity there are numerous shopping options for the consumer: stores on every other street corner, the internet, as well as the suburban wine and liquor emporia.
