The great thing about designing furniture is that it is exclusively for humans; and regardless of how much humans evolve, we continue to have pretty basic needs in terms of furnishing the places where we live...We sleep in beds...We work at desks...We sit in chairs...We eat from table tops...We put our clothes in chests and wardrobes...Fortunately, I do not think that we will ever evolve to a state where this is different.

Classic Sofa was founded over 17 years ago by Maurice Stone and his sons with the goal of providing upholstered furniture of old world quality and style at an approachable price. Originating from the Flat Iron District in New York City we have grown to a modest group of showrooms servicing some of the finest communities in the Northeast as well as becoming an essential resource to the trade.
All of our furniture is handmade by seasoned craftsman in our own workrooms (one of the secrets to our industry-leading delivery times) so we can maintain the highest standards. Frames are constructed of hardwoods. Down fill is standard. And we provide a selection of fabrics from the finest design house in the world. Classic Sofa provides a level of detail that is almost impossible to find these days; at price that is still well within reach. A combination, we believe, that will always be in fashion.

For almost 20 years, the "Murphy Bed Center" has been breaking the design barrier by dedicating its focus on designing, and improving the concept of the Murphy Bed. We have been on the forefront of product development. Our designers have created a collection of original designs using the latest technology. Restoration Hardware was born of frustration. The year was 1979 and our founder, Stephen Gordon, was restoring his Queen Anne Victorian house in Eureka, California. After spending endless days tracking down missing bits and pieces of authentic period hardware, lighting fixtures and finishes, Gordon found there were a lot of people with the same problems. He sensed a need in the marketplace, found his true calling in life, and opened the first Restoration Hardware store in his home in 1980.

Located on W.14th St. in New York City’s Meatpacking District, our Studio is sited in a recently landmarked building from the early 1900s. Following in the area’s industrial vein, the 4,000 square foot loft environment is characterized by raw concrete floors and exposed brick walls. The neighborhood has become home to high–end designer clothing boutiques, multi–starred restaurants and galleries. One of the only DWR Studios to feature weekly window displays, the space displays a wide selection of seating, bedroom designs, workspace and outdoor furniture, lighting and accessories. Studio Proprietor Brian Lynch oversees the Studio and provides personalized, knowledgeable assistance along with his staff.

Mike's Furniture Store is a furniture store with ready-made pieces, finished or unfinished. There are many colors of products for you to choose from with our color matching chart. Custom made furniture is also available if you bring in a sketch of what it is you want. We will then attempt to build it. Moldings are available to add onto anything you may already have.

Most people associate the name Aga with good food and fine living. And although it’s often thought of as quintessentially British, the Aga actually began life in Sweden. The celebrated cooker found in 750,000 households worldwide was invented by Dr Gustav Dalén, a blind Nobel Prize-winning physicist. Appalled that his wife and their maid had to constantly tend to their old-fashioned range, Dalén set out to design a modern cooker that would look after itself. It’s unlikely Dalén could have predicted that his invention would go on to be widely acclaimed as a design icon, but it has. In the year 2000, the BBC published a retrospective of the 20th Century highlighting what it considered to be the top three design icons: first was the Coca-Cola® contour bottle, second was the VW™ Bug and third was the Aga cooker.
