A vocação da Família Bessa na arte da beleza começou desde 1960 em Virgolândia, interior de Minas Gerais, com a inauguração do Salão e Barbearia do Sr. José de Almeida Bessa. O ofício passou, literalmente, de pai para filho, pois estes, desde os 13 anos de idade, já realizavam seus primeiros cortes de cabelos, sob a orientação do Sr José. Nos anos 70, Ladinha Bessa mudou-se para São Paulo, fato que acabaria por incentivar os irmãos Zezinho, Wilson e, posteriormente, Nonô, a solidificar o seu futuro profissional na capital paulista.
Em 1991, Ladinha, Wilson e Nonô abriram seu primeiro salão, o Bessa’s Cabeleireiros na Av. Diógenes Ribeiro, Alto de Pinheiros.
Três anos depois, o segundo endereço do Bessa’s foi inaugurado, na Av. Turiassú.
Nestes locais, os irmãos Bessa ficariam por quase 12 anos, formando uma clientela fiel, que não parava de crescer, o que os levou a procurar um espaço maior, onde pudessem unir os dois salões.
Em 2004, encontraram um terreno apropriado, grande o suficiente para as duas empresas, nele construíram a atual sede do Bessa´s Cabeleireiros, a qual completará em 2009, seus primeiros cinco anos de existência.
Hoje, o Bessa’s Cabeleireiros dá mais um grande passo ao inaugurar sua Escola de Cabeleileiros na Rua Passos da Pátria, com vários cursos.
Assim, a família Bessa dá continuidade ao ofício, aprendido desde cedo com Sr José de Almeida Bessa que, além de realizar cortes de cabelo, passava adiante seus conhecimentos, ensinando sua arte e proporcionando ao mundo novos profissionais.
