Founded by Denver residents Evan Mandell and Greg Hartley in 2005. After meeting in 1992 in Tampa, their friendship and love for motorcycling took them both to Colorado in search of the best riding roads in the country. Needless to say, they found their haven here. In their history they have logged tens of thousands of miles on many different motorcycles throughout the American West. Of course, they still needed to make a living in order to fund these initial adventures. We believe one of the greatest assets of Colorado Motorcycle Tours is the service-oriented minds of its owners. These skills were honed in the years prior to the creation of this company and will be quite apparent on the road and during the course of your vacation. Now both in their mid-thirties, they have the experience and skills to do the job well and the youthful enthusiasm to make it fun.
Evan has recently relocated to California with this lovely wife Karen. Colorado Motorcycle Tours will continue operating and offering great tours throughout the area this riding season, but we'll be enlisting the help of some friends that have helped us in the past. Their bio pages will be up shortly.

"High Country Tours snowmobile trips accommodate individuals of all ages and experience levels. Our machines are for single or double riders and have a 400 lb. weight limit. They have hand and feet warmers as well as back rests and compartments to carry items. Our fleet of machines consists mainly of Polaris 550cc snowmobiles. We also have higher performance sleds available. We take pride in offering tours with small groups, providing all of our guests with a more personal tour. All tours get some free time in the meadows where you can play on the machines. We offer miles and miles of back country powder riding and a groomed trail system. ABT, as its name indicates, was formed to promote bicycle touring in the Adirondack Region of New York State. The principal goal is to take people on road bike rides in the Southern Adirondack Region. Home base is in Lake George and with rides of varying length, difficulty and duration in Warren, Washington, Saratoga, Essex and Hamilton Counties. Recreational riding and fun touring --- bicycle tours are generally low-key, at a reasonable pace with time to talk during the ride.

Favela Tour is an illuminating experience if you look for an insider point of view of Brazil. The tour introduces you to another Rio, within Rio city: the favela. There are close to 600 favelas in Rio. Mostly placed on former public areas on the hillsides, they are now home to 20% of Rio's population, however they remain a mystery for most people who don't live there. The tour is not only to explain about favelas, but to give you a whole new understanding about different aspects of Brazilian society.
You will go to the favelas of Vila Canoas and Rocinha, the largest one in the country. Picturesque from a distance, once closer they reveal their complex architecture, developing commerce and friendly people. Most Samba Schools participating in the Carnival parade come from favelas. The tour changes their reputation of areas related to violence and poverty only. Don't be shy, you are welcome there, and local people support your visit.
