Kayak Staten Island is an all-volunteer organization providing free kayaking for the public at the shoreline on South Beach in Staten Island. <br> Depending on attendance, there may be a wait for a boat to become available. Try-outs are limited to 15 minutes; it is first-come-first-served but paddlers are allowed to get back in line for another spin.

Producing a variety of arts and entertainment events on Staten Island. Modeled on the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council’s River to River Festival project, producing and supporting a variety of public events featuring exhibits by local artists and performances by emerging musicians and other entertainers. The Staten Island Mall is a shopping mall in the Staten Island borough of New York City. The only indoor shopping mall in the borough, the mall is located in the New Springville neighborhood along a busy stretch of Richmond Avenue, which served as a courtyard for the Fresh Kills Landfill. Its location puts it near the geographic center of the island. It opened for business on August 9, 1973, built on a 105-acre site of what was once a semi-public airport. Lin-Weinberg gallery was founded in 1995 by Andy Lin and Larry Weinberg to create a permanent retail space in which to present a diverse collectiion of modern design and decorative art. <br> Prior to opening the gallery, Andy and Larry were show exhibitors at major twentieth century/modern venues.

The USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center is located in Flushing, in the New York City borough of Queens and has been the home of the US Open Grand Slam tennis tournament played every year in August and September. Vladimir Borodin was born in Russia city of Odessa. He started his martial arts carrier at age 7, at age 15 became Junior National Champion in boxing. At age 18 became Soviet Army Champion in karate. In 1980 became 11th USSR National Champion in karate. From 1984 to 1991 trained in kickboxing and Muaythai. Vladimir Borodin trained in Amsterdam, Netherlands, London, England and Bangkok, Changmai, Uttradit, Thailand under supervision of Great Muaythai Masters like Master Pimu, Tom Harinck, Tony Moore. Vladimir is one of the New York's latest instructors for Muaythai fighters. After opening his Gym in Brooklyn, New York he raised many National, International and World Champions in kickboxing and Muaythai divisions.
