October - The Eerie Horror Film Festival (EHFF) was conceived, born and raised in Erie County, Pennsylvania and has since grown up to become one of the most popular and respected horror film festivals in the country. Debuting in October of 2004 at the Roadhouse Theater in Erie, the EHFF attracted thousands of fans and filmmakers to the Erie area and showcased nearly 40 independent films that had been submitted to us from all around the world.

The Sundance Film Festival is a film festival that takes place annually in the state of Utah, in the United States.

November - By the time of the Festival, winter has typically begun in Haines. Conditions can include cold temperatures, wind, snow and/or rain, so you'll want to come prepared with appropriate clothing. We recommend dressing in layers with thermal or polypropylene underwear, a wool or fleece middle layer, and a waterproof/windproof outer layer. Warm gloves, hats with ear protection, and warm waterproof boots are essential. Although you might wish to dress up for Sheldon Museum's annual fundraiser, Eagle Elegance, casual clothing is acceptable for all indoor events.

The Underwear Run is a 1.7 mile fun run that takes place in Central Park every year on the Friday before the Aquaphor New York City Triathlon. No transitions, no timing chips, no expensive race gear, just 500 strangers running around in their underwear. Another typical summer evening in New York City!! The 2012 "Celebrate America" Underwear Run wants all participants to dress as patriotic as possible! Get your George Washington and Lady Liberty on... in underwear!

Careful planning and a concerted effort by all involved to develop and promote the Fair as a place where families may enjoy an exciting and affordable day of special activities is always our mission. In the 10 years that we have managed this Meadowlands event, there has been resurgence in the number of families that attend and enjoy the various attractions that this annual event has to offer. Over 99 percent of the respondents to our exit survey stated that they absolutely had fun and planned to return to the fair in subsequent years. This high percentage of satisfied patrons has been earned by a lot of hard work and dedication to our patrons and our vendors.

Located on a 160 acre site with a Northwest Company Fur Post of 1798 constructed with blacksmith shop, company store, birch bark canoe, building shed, baking oven, root cellar, bourgeois quarters, gardens, and mile long nature trail. Participants from 11 states and Canada attend and compete in blackpowder shooting competitions and tomahawk and knife throwing competitions. RV and tent camping available for the public and a discount daily family pass available.

A equipe iniciou os processos de limpeza do Bumbódromo, arrumação dos camarotes, processo seletivo das recepcionistas para trabalharem na época do Festival. Zeina Neves enfatizou ainda que o mercado de trabalho está mais exigente com relação à capacitação de servidores para este ano, disse ainda que as pessoas que estarão fazendo o atendimento têm que ser absolutamente capazes de realizar um bom serviço aos turistas. Este é o trabalho inicial que a Ativa vem desenvolvendo em Parintins ao longo de todos esses anos”, disse Zeina Neves. Enfatizou ainda que foi totalmente saudável a mudança da data do Festival para os dias 24, 25 e 26 de junho. Em Manaus os comentários são os melhores possíveis, os ensaios dos bois no Sambódromo têm recebido um acréscimo considerável de pessoas este ano com relação ao ano passado, e isto reflete definitivamente no Festival em Parintins, da forma como as pessoas voltaram a brincar os bois-bumbás nos ensaios de Garantido e Caprichoso. As pessoas comentam ainda que virão a Parintins, pelo fato de que não perderão tantos dias de trabalho, complementou a gerente da Ativa Zeina neves.
