In 1986, Berle decided to open a Personal Training gym in Great Neck - called Body By Berle. It was the first One-on-One fitness center to premier on Long Island. There he spent 16 years perfecting his program before moving to Fresh Meadows, Queens in January 2002. Body By Berle Personal Training Center is a constant fixture and reminder to help people reach their fitness and weight loss goals. The increased demand to lose fat and gain muscle via strength training can be attained by two to three sessions per week. Flushing Meadows Golf Center is located in Flushing Meadows-Corona Park in Queens. It is next to Shea Stadium and the United States Tennis Center. It consists of an 18 hole "Pitch & Putt" golf course and a modern mini-golf course with water falls, bridges and streams. Both courses are fully lighted for night play. <br> GOLFNYC operates five of the finest golf courses in New York City. Douglaston Golf Course, Forest Park Golf Course, Flushing Meadows Golf Center, Kissena Park Golf Course, and Van Cortlandt Park Golf Course. Douglaston, formally North Hills Country Club, is located in Queens and is easily accessible from both the Long Island Expressway and the Grand Central Parkway. <br> It is our most popular course and the second busiest course in NYC. This course offers a country club experience at a fraction of the cost.
