Fashion Island is an upscale open-air shopping mall in Newport Beach, California
The large courtyard outside the Bloomingdale's building is occupied annually by a large Christmas tree. About a week before Christmas, every year, the tree is lit, preceded by extravagant holiday performances. The trees are taken from a private timber area near Mount Shasta, and shipped to Fashion Island in several pieces, which are then re-assembled using steel rods and a large crane.
Dean & DeLuca announced that it would be opening a new West Coast flagship store at Fashion Island in the fall of 2009.
On January 29, 2008, Nordstrom announced that it had signed a letter of intent to open a 138,000 sq ft store in 2010. Source

San Jacinto Mall is located on I-10 at Garth Road. This 1.2 million square foot mall has anchors such as Foley's, JCPenney, Marshalls, Palais Royal, and Sears. It also contains over 100 specialty retailers and food court merchants including Premiere Cinemas 11.
Other features include a two-story carousel, delta play area, and birthday party area, all located above the food court in Circus Play Park.

The mall has four levels, each of which is approximately the shape of a rectangle. Its anchor stores include Barnes & Noble, BJ's Wholesale Club, Macy's, Home Depot, JC Penney, Lord & Taylor, Staples, Best Buy, and Target. BJ's and Home Depot are not accessible from the mall itself. BJ's is on the bottom level, with Home Depot built on top of it and Target on top of that. The mall as of 2007[update] is going through an extensive renovation that has moved the old 10 screen theater to a replacement Cinemark 16 screen "stadium style seating" theater in the north ring road area on Avenue O-8. The vacated theater pad will house new restaurants and a new corridor is being built along it for another 31 stores. Foothills Mall is an indoor regional shopping mall located in Maryville, Tennessee, a suburb of Knoxville. Foothills Mall features approximately 70 stores and restaurants. Adjacent to the mall is the Foothills Plaza complex which includes several additional restaurants and a cineplex with 8 screens.
Opened in 1983, Foothills Mall is the only shopping mall in burgeoning suburban Blount County, part of the Knoxville Metropolitan Area. The mall was originally anchored by Maryville based Proffitt's, a regional department store; Miller's, another regional department store that was a division of Allied Stores; JC Penney; and Sears.
