In 1988, equipped with little more than an apartment-sized oven and a strong desire to end her career in the hotel business, Cynthia Bruce Kramer started to bake her way into the cookie business, creating her own original recipes. Among her creations: chocolate truffles, key limes, and mint juleps. Her customers were friends and family.

A native of Harlem, New York, a young Raven "Cake Man" Dennis, III, dreamed of going south to grandma's house and soon his dreams were fulfilled. At the age of four, he wanted to do everything he could to stay outside. Striving to be like grandma, Raven grew flowers and vegetables, and made mud pies and mud cakes, while his grandmother baked and cooked family dinners.

Breads Bakery is a New York bakery dedicated to producing artisanal, handmade breads using traditional baking techniques. Most of the artisan breads we bake are made with whole grains and go through a slow proofing process, which sharpens and improves the taste. ​ A lot of thought has been given to the components of the bread, types of flour and the addition of seeds and grains which increase the nutritional value. We select only the finest ingredients and, when possible, use natural and organic ingredients. The bakery bakes both sweet and savory items including rustic breads and pastries. In 1950, Restaurant Founder Harry Rosen together with Master baker, Eigel Peterson, created and produced what is now known as the World's Most Fabulous Cheesecake. The recipe has been part of the Rosen family for three generations. Since the beginning, only three men have supervised the cheesecake production at Junior's. Even today, to ensure quality and consistency of the cheescakes one man oversees the entire blending, mixing and baking process.
