KamaDeva Yoga teachers come from diverse yogic backgrounds, and our class schedule reflects many of the different styles of Yoga that are practiced. Although all styles are based on the same physical poses (asanas), they often vary in their emphasis. All levels of student are welcome in all Open Level Yoga classes, so you can continue to test a variety of styles until you find one that suits you.

Since its inception, thousands have passed through the doors of Mandala, and many have become familiar faces. Lauren brings credentials that span the full spectrum—a Sports Medicine degree and a Masters in Exercise Physiology from Adelphi University ground her teaching in real anatomical knowledge. Her Pilates certifications through IMX and the Pilates Academy International cover every method, while her yoga training includes a 200-hour RYT from Yoga Alliance and additional certification through Yogafit. What sets her apart is how she weaves this expertise into teaching everyone from beginners to advanced students, plus she's trained to lead children's classes through Neney's Yoginis. Beyond the mat, she's DONA-certified as a doula for birth and postpartum support.
