The Mall at Prince Georges is an enclosed regional shopping mall located in Hyattsville, Maryland, at the intersection of Belcrest Road and East-West Highway (Maryland Route 410). It is served by a Washington Metro station that goes by the name Prince George's Plaza, which is the Mall's former name. This station is on the Green Line. Located across Belcrest Road from the Mall is the University Town Center mixed-use development.
The Mall at Prince Georges is currently anchored by Macy's, JC Penney, and Target, with minor anchors Office Depot, Old Navy, Marshalls, and Ross Dress for Less. The Mall at Steamtown opened with 65 retailers and 3 anchors: Boscov's, Montgomery Ward and The Globe. The Globe, an historic Scranton retailer, was connected to the mall via the bridge space. Unfortunately, the struggling anchor closed its doors in 1995. The building has since been redeveloped and is now known as Metro Tech Center, home of Diversified Information Technologies.

"As you may, or may not be aware, much of what was previously the South Hills Mall in Poughkeepsie, New York has been recently demolished to make way for an outdoor shopping center. This is quite unfortunate, as the South Hills Mall brought so many people in our area such fond memories over the past 30 years. Not to mention, this mall was the original; it introduced the first true indoor shopping mall experience to Poughkeepsie. Thankfully, Silver Cinemas, K-Mart, Shop Rite, and Burlington Coat Factory have remained; which we admire, support, and highly recommend. Although, unfortunately, everything else the mall had to offer has had to go."
