Jivamukti locations offer regular meditation and Sanskrit classes taught and chanted in their traditional forms. All classes are open to students of all levels. The Centers also host international performers and speakers from a wide range of spiritual and artistic fields.

Formed by a dedicated and inspired group of teachers and practitioners in 1987 as a regional arm of the Iyengar Yoga National Association of the United States. Iyengar Yoga aims were threefold: to support the teaching of Iyengar yoga throughout our four-state area, to establish a central place for study and teaching that would embody the highest standards of a transformational practice of yoga, and to connect our practitioners with others in the United States and throughout the world and to the source of our inspiration, B.K.S. Iyengar, our teacher.

Located in our new home in the heart of Soho, in a beautiful 2,000 square foot loft that is a fully equipped classical Pilates studio that includes three reformers, four wall units, 2 wunder chairs, a high chair, cadillac, pedi pole and a ladder barrel. The studio has been designed with a clean, simple modern sensibility that enhances the old-fashioned charm of a traditional high ceiling Soho loft space. Airy and light-filled, the ambience at Grasshopper Pilates Downtown is warm, gracious and welcoming, although the workout is functional, serious and challenging.
