Bergen Town Center is a dominant super regional shopping center located in Paramus, New Jersey, featuring specialty shops and eateries, including Century 21, Filene’s Basement, Marshall’s and Off 5th-Saks Fifth Avenue Outlet.
Bergen Town Center is an 816,000 square foot shopping center. It originally opened in November 1957 as an open-air center. It was then renovated and enclosed in 1973. In 2006 ground was broken for a major renovation that will position the Bergen Town Center as a premiere center in the northeast. Future tenants include Whole Foods, Target and others. Bergen Town Center is conveniently located in Paramus, NJ, which has the second-highest concentration of retail in the US, second only to Manhattan's 7th Avenue. Bergen Town Center is just off of Route 4 East at Forest Avenue and can be easily accessed from Route 17, the Garden State Parkway, the NJ Turnpike, the George Washington Bridge and the Lincoln Tunnel. |

Situated at the heart of the Kohala Coast on the Island of Hawaii, the Kings’ Shops is a vital part of Waikoloa Beach Resort, one of Hawaii’s most popular tourist destinations. Parkway Place opened on October 16, 2002. This mall is 650,000 square feet, anchored by Dillard's and Belk. Parkway Place offers shoppers of the Tennessee Valley over 70 stores including abercrombie, Abercrombie & Fitch and Williams-Sonoma. The mall has over 2,800 free parking spaces (including the parking deck) and seats 400 people in the food court.

Home of Northrup-Grumman Shipbuilding, the largest privately owned shipyard as well as the nation’s only shipyard building nuclear air craft carriers. The mall completed an extensive interior and exterior renovation in late 2005, which included the addition of a 55,000 sf Dick’s Sporting Goods store, Borders Book & Music, Red Robin Restaurant and Bailey’s Pub & Grille. Patrick Henry Mall is the dominant retail destination on the peninsula and the only enclosed regional mall between Richmond and Virginia Beach.

Buena Park Downtown, formerly Buena Park Mall, is an enclosed shopping mall located in Buena Park, California, adjacent to the Knott's Berry Farm theme park. The mall is anchored by Bed Bath & Beyond, DSW Shoe Warehouse, Ross Dress For Less, Sears, Steve & Barry's, 24 Hour Fitness, and Wal-Mart. The mall opened in 1961 and is currently managed by Developers Diversified Realty. The mall also has stores across the street with Petsmart, Office Depot, Kohl's and Circuit City as primary tenants. The Manhattan Mall, one of the few traditional indoor malls in New York City, is located at 33rd Street and Sixth Avenue. There are entrances to the 34th Street-Herald Square subway station and the 33rd Street PATH station on the second basement level.
The mall is located in the high-rise building formerly used by the Gimbels flagship store, which closed in 1986. On April 18, 2007, JCPenney announced that it would open a 150,000 square foot store at the mall, its first in Manhattan. Kahala Mall is home to a number of nationally and internationally recognized businesses, including Whole Foods Market, Apple Store, Macy's, Barnes & Noble, Starbucks, Jamba Juice, Radio Shack, Chili's and California Pizza Kitchen.
Local merchants and a number of independently-owned shops and restaurants can also be found within the mall perimeter. An eight-screen Consolidated Theatres movie theater is nestled into one corner of the mall. Waialae Bowl, the only bowling center within several miles of the neighborhood, was somewhat interestingly built into a McDonald's, at the corner opposite the movie theater. Unfortunately, it has since closed down (not related to the flood, however.) The movie theater in this mall was closed in March 2006. It has since reopened. The closing occurred as a result of flooding from heavy rains. The flood broke a hole through the wall of the theater and flowed into the mall, and parts of the ground floor had 3-6 inches of rain water. Many shops suffered substantially; some never reopened. Outlet centers are comprised of stores that are owned and operated by the manufacturer. Shoppers save money through purchasing goods directly from the manufacturer. The same goods would cost the consumer more at a department store, as the department store would need to “mark up” the price of the goods to earn a profit over its cost of purchasing the goods from the manufacturer. The middle step (and therefore the markup) is omitted when shopping outlets.
