New York Theological Seminary began its life in 1900 with the founding of the Bible Teachers’ College in Montclair, New Jersey by Wilbert Webster White. Like their predecessors early in the 20th century, some Rockefeller researchers today seek to solve urgent public health problems. Others focus on basic research.
