New York Giants

The New York Knickerbockers, known as the Knicks, are one of only two charter members of the National Basketball Association still in their original cities (the other being the Boston Celtics). The Knicks were among the league's elite in three different eras, each separated by about two decades. In the early 1950s New York played for the NBA title three times. The early 1970s represented the team's golden age, when the Knicks won two NBA championships with a roster studded with such Hall of Fame talent as Willis Reed, Walt Frazier, Dave DeBusschere, Earl Monroe, and Bill Bradley. They are members of the Eastern Division of the American Football Conference (AFC) in the National Football League (NFL). The team's training facility and corporate headquarters, which opened in 2008, are located in Florham Park, New Jersey. A professional American football team based in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The team plays its home games at Giants Stadium, which also serves as its headquarters, and trains at an adjacent practice facility within the Meadowlands Sports Complex. The team was one of the eight original franchises of the league.
