Nascimento da Agência de Viagens CVC no dia 28 de maio de 1972, da associação de Guilherme Paulus e de Carlos Vicente Cerchiari (a sigla CVC provém das iniciais do nome). O Grupo CVC incorpora: Unidade de Hotéis (GJP), a companhia aérea Webjet, Serrano Resort & Spa, a maior frota de navios da costa brasileira, com um total de cinco transatlânticos, roteiros (Circuito Religioso, Parques Temáticos, Praias e Serras do Sul).

Em 1994, ao analisar os serviços prestados por agências de viagens especializadas em conta comerciais, Solange e Luís Vabo perceberam uma importante fatia de mercado, composta por empresas que demandavam um atendimento personalizado e, ao mesmo tempo, de baixo custo.
A experiência adquirida por Solange Vabo, bacharel em turismo, na direção de grandes agências de viagens corporativas, somada à vivência comercial e práticas de gestão de Luís Fernando, engenheiro especializado em transportes, os encorajaram a formar a Solid Viagens e Turismo, uma agência criada em 1995 para oferecer serviços baseados na tecnologia da informação a preços competitivos.

Fundada em 1994 por Luiz Antonio Vergani, que atua no mercado turístico desde 1977. Vergani é Bacharel em Turismo, Pós-Graduado em Administração de Empresas, Mestre em Turismo pela Universidade de São Paulo – Escola de Comunicação e Artes e Professor Universitário. Lecionou nas Universidades Anhembi - Morumbi, UNIP, UNIBAN, na Universidade de São Paulo (USP), como Professor convidado. Em 2001, como coordenador, foi um dos responsáveis pelo reconhecimento do curso de Turismo com conceito “A” pelo MEC, na Universidade do Grande ABC (SP). Como professor, ministra aulas em disciplinas como Gestão de Agências de Viagens, Introdução ao Turismo, Tópicos Avançados de Turismo e Comunicação Empresarial. A APEX iniciou em janeiro de 2003 uma nova fase, inaugurando sua nova sede em um pioneiro conjunto comercial, parceiro de empresas como Mac Donalds, Livraria Nobel, Drogaria São Paulo, Soho Cabeleireiros e outras.
